Former President Joe Biden will release his own book called "Promise Me, America" on November 17, which focuses on his time as president.
Can he even remember what he did 10 minutes ago? How is the posterhead for alzheimer's supposed to write a book about the four years he was in office. The ghost writer better be getting paid good for this because its gonna be 85% fluff probably.

I'm gonna be real with you, I don't give a fuck about Alaska.
But the more northern areas - Alaska, Finland, Russia, do have higher rates of depression and binge drinking. Do with that as you will.
Alaska in particular also has a super high murder rate. I'm gonna go with, no, they're not that healthy and scant sun doesn't help.
The fucked up (statistical) lives of Alaskans are more reasonably attributed to the lack of women. First, note that on many measures of health and wellness, men do worse than women, so the average Alaskan will do worse on these even if there's no true gender-controlled difference.

On top of this, consider the effects of few women on a heavily male population. Depression, binge drinking and violence are not terribly surprising.

Separately from the relative lack of women itself, consider one of the reasons there are fewer women: dangerous, unpleasant seasonal employment in large portions of the economy. This will first tend to bias the population toward people who are willing to work in such jobs, and second there will be an effect of such occupation on them.

It's also important to note that almost all of the population is concentrated in southern cities that have sunlight every day of the year.

Sunlight might be a possible factor, but it should definitely be below any of these on your list unless you have very strong reasons to believe otherwise.

Alaska's homicide rate is mainly due to Red Injun savages.

The white homicide rate is higher than the rest of the country, 4.2 vs 3.3, but the sky-high numbers are driven by the same people responsible for crime everywhere else.

I imagine it's gonna be like Bart's biography from 'Bart Gets Famous'
Lisa: This biography of Bart came out awfully quickly. It's not even about him!
Bart: Sure it is! Look at the cover.
Lisa: But inside, it's mostly about Ross Perot and the last two chapters are excerpts from the Oliver North trial.
Homer Simpson: Ah, Oliver North. He was just poured into that uniform.

The most obnoxious pretension that kept cropping up during his final swing in the public eye was the assertion that Pudding Brain was somehow the vanguard for the "nation's values" in the "battle for the soul of the nation." The fact that this was another one of the Obama team's glittering generalities that they always employ as a Trojan horse was what made the gaslighting so aggravating. This was one of the more notable examples, from the 2020 campaign:
biden book.jpg

Just look at the level of bullshit being flung in the description. Every single statement is like a bad joke, especially given what ultimately happened when he took the seat:
This book captures the core of who Joe Biden is as a lifelong public servant–featuring photographs from his eight years as one of America's most consequential vice presidents and partner to Barack Obama.

These visually arresting photographs and behind-the-scenes stories show Biden stepping into his own as a leader always ready to guide a nation in distress. They also reveal a new dimension to Biden's humanity–as a man whose decency and kindness shines through both tragedy and triumph, whose working-class roots inform his values, and whose candor and approachability enable him to connect with citizens of all kinds.

This book traces Biden's vice presidency in unprecedented detail, shedding light on who he is as a political leader and patriot, and also as a father, husband, and friend. It will delight and fascinate readers who yearn for the return of honesty and ethics to the nation's highest offices.

As we turn the page towards a brighter future, this portrait of one of the most influential names in American politics is a timeless reminder of the values this country holds truest, and of how a leader like Joe Biden can unite a nation.
