Boomer Hate Thread

Based king. Total cyclist death. Hope that faggot gets run over by a truck for crossing at top speed.

We have 2/3rds of the sidewalk turned to bike lanes and these faggots STILL ride on the sidewalk AT FULL SPEED.

Should have stabbed that little bitch. Learn the consequences of not following rules.

(Some) boomers at least in a few fields are starting to choke on the poison chalice they helped brew. Since the more "callous" and canny younger generation are outranking them rapidly on the new corporate ladder these days due to hustle culture overtaking and having a completely cynical crypto rugpuller adjacent profiteer mindset of
"If I don't take it now, it won't be here tomorrow. You taught me that"

And it's having quite a negative effect on the delusional firm eye contact and shake hands company man fantasy a few of the old guard have.
Since even the biggest shots of them are rapidly becoming outranked by the faceless investors and "The guy the CEO doesn't want to piss off" that's becoming more commonplace.

An older "Oakleys on his neck 24/7" defacto IT boomer guy here got absolutely busted ass down in rank and is hanging on by a thread now because a newer hire went into his section after boomer guy filed a complaint against him, and with permission from the higher ups the younger guy came back a week later and outlined 10 major fuckups boomer guy did that were ongoing for 5 years or more and figured out how to fix them on a shoe string budget to boot, And he used the boomer guy's own meticulous filing and dating and record keeping against him, the very same busy idiot system tracking how little he was actually doing and the barest minimum that looks impressive and busy to people who don't take a closer look and notice that it's just practically tracking every time he gets up to go piss and comes back to sit at his terminal.

The same bible thick folder of "I logged in and did the bare minimum" tracked to the hour that the very same boomermaxxer himself would often use to bust the ass of other hires who just got tasks done and in contrast only kept tickets of critical issues or recurring ones. Thus at a glance making even the most productive employee look like a slacker to the clueless. And his trick was both found out and being used to beat him down the ladder with.

He looked like someone told him his medicaid was cancelled and the cracker barrel was closed permanently when he was told to his face that he was chronically underperforming and being "Relocated to another position for re-evaluation"

One thing I hear from boomers even from my Republican-voting parents, is that they somehow have gotten the idea that immigrants work harder than people born and raised in the country. This could've been true in the past, but where did they even get this idea?
Update--parents have denied saying this. But I remember it in a conversation where they were interested in voting for Nikki Haley in the primaries, if that means anything.

Boomer uncle speaks strongly against anti-boomerism, says that hating on boomers like calling black people niggers (only spelled it out). Also argued that in the 1950s we had higher income taxes, as if we weren't taxed other ways now (or that our current taxes are being reinvested in the country and not just disappearing into gibs and NGOs).

On the subject of leather car seats, do you figure most boomers can tell the difference between faux leather (plastic) and authentic leather (cow)?
Are car dealerships required to disclose if a seat is authentic leather?

I mention this because afaik the main two ways to discover you were sold faux leather are:
1- looking at a slice of the fabric, which may or may not require someone to just make a cut on it or find where the edges of the fabric are stapled/sewn. Fake leather is basically a layered material with only the thin surface having the look/texture of leather and the rest being a mix of fabric and foam to give the right texture and ease of manufacture; while real leather is a single layer of cowskin all the way through.
2- Fake leather, being just a shit sandwich, eventually peels off , with only the the fabric/foam holding it together exposed, but that takes time (and abuse)

I suppose things like some kinds of textures might also give off "fake"signs but that would explain why it's not a "luxury car" thing anymore really.

to the boomer, working harder means willing to work for less
juan borderhopper doesn't lay bricks any harder than john smith, but he does it for a third of the wages

When I was 16 I got kicked out and sent to live with my Dad. He did not really feed me. Every now and again he'd go to the grocery store and get yogurt, ramen, and a marked down piece of meat. So I wasn't allowed to use the electric stove. The electricity cost too much apparently. He had a wood burning stove. I had to start a fire everyday after school to warm up the house and to maybe cook my ramen on. If he bought an almost expired piece of meat on the weekend, he'd put it in a big pot on the wood burning stove and pour half his beer over it. Eventually this lack of nutrition and disgusting food led me to get a fast food job. Now that he lives with me and I'm a pretty good cook he expects me to make him fine meals. Every single day. I almost feel like I shouldn't have ever indulged him in the fine meals I make for my family. Because if something doesn't turn out to his liking he'll have some sort of nasty comment to make. For example, I made skirt steak fajitas once and they weren't exactly melt in your mouth tender. (I was in a hurry, okay.) Anyway, I think I mentioned he wears dentures. Only the top ones though, he threw out the bottom ones years ago. So he probably can't chew properly. His comment to me was "Well that's about the toughest steak I've ever had". I was flabbergasted! Thinking what the actual hell?!? He didn't have to buy it, he didn't cook it and serve it, he didn't even feed me when I was a kid and here he is complaining about free food made for him that he can't chew and that's his own damn fault! The rest of the family had no problem with the fajitas. We enjoyed them. I seriously don't know if I can deal with this boomer dad of mine living with me for much longer. I hope my sister takes custody of him soon.

You could go the opposite and do something like nutraloaf or oatmeal with all the macros/micros just for him until he gets the picture to not complain and take whats given. Beggers can't be choosers.

I could but that would be a lot of effort and probably too nutritious for him. He loves his Little Debbie snack cakes. He can stuff his face with those for all I care at this point.

I was at the doctor's office. Luckily I have good insurance, but the entire doctor's office, every time I go there is nothing but boomers Like, seriously. Like every hour of the day you see at least 5 boomers in the doctor's office.
And some other guilt tripping their grandkids into dragging them out to the doctor's office to fix all of the problems from being degenerates.

I recommend dropping him off at a fire station and changing the locks. Like removal of any unwanted feral animal, you'll want to go at least 100 miles to find a relocation site.

One day serve him an instant ramen or the beer-boiled-almost-expired meat chunk.
When he inevitably says “I won’t eat this shit”, respond with “then why did you feed it to me?”
When he says “you’re ungrateful I didn’t have money”, point out “you had money for beer”.

Although it probably won’t make a difference. At least that’s my experience.
Anyways, sorry to hear you had it rough out there.

Personally, if I was you, I'd throw those away in front of him (along with any other foods you bought him specifically), and then make sure to ONLY feed him either instant ramen or whatever the fuck I could be bothered to scrounge up. He complains? Tell him that's all he's getting, and if he doesn't want it, he can either go buy his own food or starve.

Overheard some boomer neighbors talking at a neighborhood event. One of them is aware of the videos of Zoomers calling out boomers. He then mentioned he knows how tough they have it but said he comments in every video “sucks to be you.”

Mind you he also thinks Trump is going to nuke Iran and bring martial law before the end of the year to save America.

Mike Rowe: Tells all the people to go to trade school and work in the trades. Why he works in his comfortable job in television. Has never probably done a hard day's work in his life. I generally think Mike is a sigh out by the boomers.

No "kid" in an apprenticeship is making six figures annually. Most licensed plumbers or electricians don't. Fuck him and fuck everyone who peddles this boomer bullshit

His next dirty job should be cleaning a Gen Z kid's brains off the ceiling

Mike Rowe has a podcast, in it everyone he interviews went to some university, got an MBA, or is another TV/Celebrity fag like himself. If the guest is speaking about any "dirty job" they had to do its always in some hobby or side thing while they dance around admitting to the fact that they are a corporate executive. I am tortured to listen to his shitty podcast by my own boomer relatives who completely bought into his whole character of being a hard working blue collar laborer.

And of course, unlike a corporate job, your body will wear out a million times faster. Boomers are so horrifically out of touch when it comes to wages, the cost of living, and other such things, it is to the point of delusion. I seriously wonder how some of these kids survive if they don't have a good relationship with some decently wealthy parents.

Not necessarily, a lot of survivorship bias, they might tell you of some story where someone "worked hard" and found success, but for every success story there's dozens of failures. Think about chain restaurants, there's lots of places that make it to 3-4 restaurants and then just disappear, the types that are lucky to even have a forum posting from 2007 that mentions it. Sure, there might be newspaper ads and tax records, but no one is looking for them or talking about them.

Also, boomers were the ones that got rid of corporate loyalty. Their bosses were the ones that were able to give them promotions just by being with the company a long time, with the career path from bag boy to C-suite actually possible. Once boomers actually controlled the company, they made that impossible.

That "S.W.E.A.T. Pledge" he made up is either a sad callback of how the world worked 50 years ago or a grifter knowingly bullshitting people. I used to believe the former and now I think it's the latter.

It was a 30 year, then a 40 year, and now about to become a 50-year recency bias for wages and prices. There's a reason why we want age limits on Congress and all elected politicians in the United States. Old people have no sense of everyday living anymore. The Boomers took control, catered all services and society towards benefiting their retirements then fucked everyone else in the process. Glad that Lindsey Graham is dead, another boomer politician gone.

There's also virtually no health benefits in the trades as well if you're working for some mom and pop business, so you're stuck with a subpar public system, or maintaining your own HSA and paying cash price for everything, or not even getting any medical treatment at all.

I don't know why but this website has a lot of overly smug tradies that will screech about "muh laptop class"

I wager it's mostly younger guys and when their bodies finally explode they'll fight tooth and nail for one of those "fake jewish daycare email jobs" they once decried
