I haven't played Pal World. Is it worth playing on its own merits or did its popularity come from making Nintendo/Game Freak seethe?
I'll preface this by saying that I have not played for many many update cycles so as far as I know it could be a complete different game from what I experienced but the version of the game that I played was like 80% a survival/crafting game and like 20% a Pokemon clone.

I don't like survival games so my enjoyment was always going to be limited but if you do enjoy them I would say sure go for it. Just don't expect a traditional monster collecting or battling RPG like Pokemon, or Digimon, or Monster Rancher or you will be very disappointed.

Aside from what was mentioned above, Rogue Trader and Wartales are also both decent.
Didn't hear too much about Wartales, I wanted to check it out for a while but everyone I asked on said to skip it so I'd probably just pirate it first. And I probably won't be touching Owlcat games anymore, could barely finish my Lich path in WoTR.
I already have all the TW games worth playing, everything after Shogun 2 is dogshit (well, Rome 2 and Atilla were "ok" at best).

If you liked games like Ark, Valheim, and pretty much any other generic open world survival game and want a half assed monster trainer equivalent and have people to play it with, sure. But like almost every single one of those types of games I feel they're pretty below average and only really work with people to play with. I don't have people and I don't like randoms so eh. It hit 1.0 so it might be your best opportunity to get it.
It's only real claim to fame was making Nintendo go ape shit and the shock value of butchering/enslaving cute monsters and having them use guns to shot people/other cute monsters. Otherwise it tries (barely) to be a bunch of different games at once and lacks any real identity beyond what I mentioned.

Indie multiplayer game Angels Fall First, which has spent nearly 11 years of early access, has finally left early access today.
Was wondering why that was suddenly in my feed, I tried it once and it showed a ton of promise. Game is fully playable offline too since it's not really going to able to gain a huge audience anymore. But hey, 1000+ players from the original low double digit player count is pretty cool.
I saw a few Charlie Kirk emblems on Black Ops 2 lately. That shit disturbs me.
He's become nothing more than a brainrot meme, it's a shame. I doubt most people even know who he is or what happened to him, nor would they care if they were told.

Sat here wondering when the fuck we get to preorder the grim dawn dlc.

It started out as a medieval xcom, turned into a bar management game? All the dlc is ranked poorly and with huge emphasis on running that fucking tavern.

Check out Last Train Home. It's sort of company of heroes/desperados-coded with xcom base management being on a fucking train set in a part of eastern europe you never see other media deal with.

I would think if somebody would depict Charlie Kirk in that fashion, they're not only aware of what happened but WHY it happened and WHO he was. Basically, not in good faith, if there was faith to begin with.

I'm surprised CoD3 has a dedicated playerbase given its age and quality.

Nice, I'll load steam achievement unlocker up for my kids. What a retarded move lol.

Finally beat cyberpunk 2077 and Liberty City , thanks for the recommendation it was pretty great.
the tower ending was such a bummer but I expect that to be the ending they use if they choose to continue V's story. Giving the player an option to survive everything is pretty cool even if it does result in most everybody v knew having beef with him. The game has pretty decent writing even with the lame tranny shit.
I did end up using some mods, mostly focused on increasing the difficulty because I remembered steamrolling the game after getting some decent chrome.

This game looks like shit and runs like shit. Combat is okay but the way the game is designed is simply poor.

The camera falls through the floor when simply moving it around. I saw the badass dino animations on twitter and really wanted to like it. Too bad.
