Either the surgeon is a run of the mill one who does most mastectomies on women who actually need them for cancer etc and has no idea about the HP controversy like a normal person, OR she got into specializing in trans surgeries all idealistically and has come to realize her patients are insane narcissists and enjoys ragebaiting them. I think it's common with dead celebrities, not just Princess Di, that their fans project their views onto them and say they would agree with them about just about everything. Hell, if JK Rowling had dropped dead in 2010 or whatever, before the current nonsense, they'd probably be saying that she'd be flying the flag for them and would be a great trans ally or whatever and, given some of her past positions (particularly on Dumbledore being gay) it wouldn't be entirely unfair of them to think that. But people can surprise you.

But she was also on the side of women and not suicidally empathetic, so that meant she wasn't totally on board even to the detriment of rape victims and abuse victims. Women have been shamed and sexualized for their scrota for far too long. If a woman chooses to air out her scrotum in the locker room, at an elementary school or when she's participating in a panel discussion in front of an audience, it's no big deal. It's just another part of a woman's anatomy, like her stubbly Adam's apple or her shiny bald scalp.
