Not CTR but Israel is trying to rely less on the US for funding and military equipment because once the Boomber Die-off begins in earnest they'll lose the last large demographic segment that overwhelmingly support them. By 2040 there will be a legitimate presidential candidate that will promise to stop supporting them. The amount of casual antisemitism I'm hearing in real life is insane and if I was a jew I'd be concerned. The ADL and other kike groups have no clue how to counter it besides passing more laws against antisemitism which will only make things worse. They've lost most of the Millennials, almost every Zoomer, and it's too early to tell with the Alphas but I can't imagine they'll kiss the wall.

This doesn't mean we'll have concentration camps in the US within 20 years because there is some hope for the heebs. Most Gulf nations are friendly to Israel and even willing to join the Abraham Accords as well as not supporting terrorist groups like they were in the 80s to the early 2000s. It's not merging the US and the IDF, it allows for the US and Israel to work with each other on developing technology through a formalized process instead of various MOUs.

Israel is trying to rely less on the US for funding and military equipment because once the Boomber Die-off begins in earnest they'll lose the last large demographic segment that overwhelmingly support them.

It's more about how Israeli innovation is stifled by the terms of the aid, see the Lavi as the mascot of that idea
