Hmmm, it's funny how this teaser about actual war criminals, Nazis, and Speidel has a much more neutral tone than the Yuppie writing material, even when they're discussing enslaving Slavs and working them to the death. Perhaps trusting the guy with a giant "AMERICA IS EATING OUR CHILDREN" banner (it's in his pisscord AND the dev build) to do your writing unsupervised was a bad idea.

Incidentally, the Gorky nuke makes way more sense than the Haiti Nukes- they're at least trying to hit a target with a lot of conventional value instead of random mudholes that may or may not have guerillas in them.

I got the leaked build running, It's for the latest HOI4 version and will crash if you try to run it on 1.18. The guy who leaked it didn't zip it up though and may also have DAWX'd himself in the process if he actually used his real name on his drive account.
Victor and The Judge is also in the build. Judging by the 2.0 version number it might be intentional? Perhaps they're planning to ship some of VJ with Yuppie. Also lol even TNO devs are joking about how long the mod takes to make. I suppose I should start planning the Yuppie! launch party a few decades in advance...

Like I said, the guy didn't zip it up and just dumped it into his drive like a reeee-tard so if you try to download it El Goog will spend an hour compressing the GFX folder. Tell if it gets taken down, Pixeldrain is decent but usually responds to takedown notices like MEGA does (which is why the leaked builds on 4chan are now all dead links presumably.)

Not really, no. It's more like they're doing a complete reset on the mod and starting over from the scratch in half the world in the mod. If they release it around new years that means that in five years or so they made a demo for Germany that replaces a war, made two Fuhrers unplayable, replaced all US content with a historical Democrat/Republican duocracy, reworked a Russian tag without issues and replaced all playable African content with OTL skeletons. In many ways by simply not deleting everything Rises Again will have more content or at least parity in many parts of the world and nearly everything from the original road map will be completely abandoned. It'd be fairer to treat it as a release of a new mod because if you remove Russia that's practically what it is since all other ties to the past have been removed.
