fuck up his finances because the lawyer would
run Phil's pockets dry.
The amount of discovery that would
happen on Phil's part would fuck him over.
They would need to audit his finances in order to see
if he was truly losing money or not.
This now confirms that Phil actively watches/looks at detractor content. Lmao.

And it would be extra expensive because any lawyer he talks to will know that he doesn't have a case, so he would have to pay enough up front to make it worth taking on a case they know is a loss. As much as he tries to spin the narrative that RawPhil is "stealing his money", it isn't. He would have to prove that it actually cost him money somehow (it doesn't) or damaged his reputation. Phil's reputation being what it is makes that last one actually impossible. As much as I would love to see it, it's just another instance of Phil's babyrage building up since this chat freezing thing started. He's been going through some coping steps live over the last few days.
He started with denial. "It doesn't even affect me. I'm still gonna stream and I won't even talk about it."
Then he tried bargaining. "You know, you're obviously doing this for attention, so you should do it to bigger streamers instead" (Pretty scummy trying to save himself by pointing them towards someone else. A behavior he would absolutely lose his mind about if someone did it to him.)
He tried to crowdsource his non-existent fanbase to doxx the guy.
He tried to manipulate RawPhil by saying they were "harboring a criminal" to try scaring them into banning the guy. I'm assuming he hoped the troll would stop if he couldn't brag about it in the chat, but it could have just been good ol' revenge to make himself feel better.
More manipulation by pretending to be happy that he now has ammunition to sue RawPhil in a further attempt to turn the RawPhil community against the troll. I assume this was an attempt to get the trolls to out this guy for him to protect the restream. Also probably to make himself feel powerful in a powerless situation and to try protecting his image.
Then the final step that we've seen plenty of times where the initial high of venting his rage wears off and he is stuck trying to find other people to validate his behavior because he knows on some level he made a fool out of himself. Usually he just asks/tells his chat he was right and twists details to make himself sound less retarded until at least one person in his chat agrees that he isn't acting like a retard, and then says something like "See? Everyone agrees with me."
I do enjoy disecting Phil's bullshit sometimes, but I still can never quite tell how aware of it he is. Is he really just an amoral shitbag, or is he really so sold on his delusions that he walks away feeling like a winner? In any case, this season's writers have been hitting it out of the park. The fitness arc, the pokemon cards, and now we're getting the continuation of the lolsuit.
