I do wonder if Leanna ever had this conversation with Phil.

I think she had a variant of that conversation with him: She might have been concerned about his dignity/stability but her primary issue was sitting around the house all night/serving as mother-maid/being forced to get a real job. Based on that I suspect the conversation was more about "are you really happy staying at home all the time"/"don't you want to get out and enjoy life?".

Remember, she fell for Phil and moved in with him when he was a high earning streamer. We all know how he loves to flex, it must have been a hell of a rude awakening when things started to go downhill.

More likely one of them cheated on each other first sometime around 2016-17 and things just fizzled out because Phil didn't want to look like an incel again. But, I hope she did at some point

I think she cheated on him, he ignored her obviously throwing herself at him and then there was that 2016 (2017?) stream where she flashed him off camera.

To your point about not looking like an incel again I would add that Seattle is unaffordable for a Target clerk, combine that with his general ineptitude and they were very unhappy but stuck with each other until things finally boiled over (panic attack/'give her a pill and leave her somewhere' video).

Additional khantext to add to the other replies: DS1, DS3, and Elden Ring all have an online/offline toggle on the main menu, but DS2 specifically does not. So it's possible that Phil doesn't realize Nvm it just occurred to me that I almost wrote an entire post that was operating under the assumption that DSP would remember something about games he's played before
