I don't even care about the fact that this dude gets emotional over video games as a good form of art can garner emotions out of someone, it's just the absolutely bizarre choice of stuff that he gets teary eyed over like capeshit or literal children's games while games that are actually meant to have a strong emotional impact he either sits there like a gargoyle occasionally glancing at the chat, or makes a really dumb joke that shows he's not invested at all.

lol this reminds me of when I was a kid and I played Zoo Tycoon. I was flabbergasted at how guests would complain about having to eat without sitting down while they bought an ice cream or a hot dog. Now that you told me about this, yeah, Phail would be the type of person who'd bitch about having to eat ice cream while standing up.

I haven't seen him looking teary eyed other than when he got obliterated 30 or 40 times in a row in fighting games. Sometimes when he doesn't get any tips too.

My personal headcanon is that satan666-satan is, in fact, Satan. He tunes into DSP religiously when he's on and has an entire segment of hell that he forces to watch Phil from start to finish every day.

I hope it's true, as long as i dont see kino working with him again, shit dragged on too long and it's mostly was bland.

IIRC right before the Snakening, Ashton gave Phil an ultimatum that they would agree to work with him again if he publicly apologized to them for wasting their time and bothering their viewers for months. DSP performing a public apology under duress might be the funniest piece of internet media that's ever been made. But I doubt he will do it, and I'm pretty convinced that KC would hold him to it, considering how fed up they seemed.
