Not surprised on the birthright citizenship ruling. But I'm curious how many times I'm the past has this been tried in court? Has anything like this ever reached the supreme court? I've been hearing about it for 30 years now not it doesn't seem like it was ever seriously challenged.

Last only time they've considered it afaik was Wong Kim Ark in 1898, and that was only about children of legal immigrants.

One of the commenters on SCOTUSblog suggested that this decision allowing schools to ban trans under Title IX was written to set up another case currently working it's way though the appeals courts that would REQUIRE schools to ban trans under Title IX (to protect women). That has potential.
