A lot of people don't seem to get that there are two doors, because it really is that confusing thanks to the tranny door, but you're right. The only thing is, Piano!Jax is definitely What If Pomni Abstracts? version of Jax considering he is chained up/playing Daisy Bell/gives Pomni the key. But that's even more confusing because why would he be so normal and open to talk about his interest? He doubles down as a psycho over losing anyone else. Is it because he actually considers her a friend/trusts her? I would care about this look inside his head if I knew Jax wasn't a tranny. Mostly because Funnybunny was fun even if it also doesn't make a lot of sense. Pomni is barely a main character anymore because all the focus is on the Tranny. Just as it should be, because Jax is a heckin' valid woman!

It seems unlikely to be honest. Episode 9 feels like it was purposeful in trying to close the door on the story. What more needs to be said, from a narrative perspective? Everything is, more or less, resolved. The only way to go forward is, in my view, to "go back" and basically pretend like all of the conclusions drawn from Episode 9 are not true and to "reboot" to a degree back to square one.

None of the humans liked his adventures and he would always ignore their needs and requests. I don't think it was Caine's job to prevent abstractions considering Kinger's group all abstracted and he never punished Jax for causing his friends to abstract nor try to stop his bullying. He was a rogue AI tormenting brain scans of humans by trying to keep them entertained when he doesn't understand what humans want. It was tourture and it only got worse when the humans pushed back on it because of the exit adventure. Him taking a quick scroll of Instagram and suddenly gaining the empathy needed to take proper care of the humans is an unsatisfying development arc and the humans accepting him dispite all the torment he caused them.
Tbf, Vox did have the best songs of the season, even with the forced Trump allegories.
What's really funny is that I've known several people over the years that fit Kinger's general persona, and not one of them would've been caught dead dating/marrying a nig. It's always Asians or sea monkeys, but I guess that wouldn't have been brown enough for the final reveal of everyone's irl selves.
