Maybe 20 years ago, but I've actually been to one of those game stores in Phoenix with my friend who lived there. Granted, it was for a Pokémon tournament, but there was a small game of Pathfinder or something going on at a table away from the tournament. Most of the people there were in their 30s or 40s, but there were some 50+ year old wandering around. Age is not the issue, if he showed up he would be tolerated as long as he keeps being a turbo-Liberal as he already is.

I don't really keep up with Kino Casino any, but maybe they'll cover it sometime. If anyone that follows them sees anything please post about it here. I don't follow Metokur either really and apparently he's into Spoony news too. But yeah, not many care about CA remnants anymore and for good reason.

Because nerd stuff has grown as a hobby over the years, there are people who have aged with it. With the local population(damn near 2 million people) that he has within a half hour drive, and game stores all over the fucking place, he can find people closer to his age group to make friends with if...

He actually went out and tried.

Considering just how mainstream some of this shit has gotten in the past 20 years that he's been completely out of it, there's probably more people that jumped onboard in their 20s and 30s over time that are in his age range, than if the people his age 20 years ago just stuck with it. And if these people are just your game night group? Who the hell cares if someone in it is 25 and you're 45. You're not there to meet people for a date. You can avoid interacting with actual children. You're there for game night. Being 40+ is just another bullshit excuse for spoony to not do anything and mope about it.

Noah is one of those cases where I understand it. April was a decent looking woman that genuinely supported him, unlike that controlling fat Scarlett that kickstarted his career decline. April stuck by Noah when his career was already in the toilet, and once she was gone, that was that. It's all downhill from then on. He was old, fat, broken, any looks he had in his youth had faded, no desire to return to his career, and even if he tried, the Internet has drastically changed, content he did is antiquated and will never catch on like it did back then. Sure, Spoony could throw up slop regularly or be a dead inside terrible washed up streamer like DSP and probably still make a living from a slowly dwindling niche fanbase like others, but any fire he had was extinguished.

This is the first I've heard of spoony since his drunk stream breakdown over a decade ago, but it's fascinating to see he's still stuck in that same time period.
Absolutely pathetic.

If he likes raising dogs so much he should go get a job at an animal shelter, or as a dog walker, or literally fucking anything. At least then he'd be doing something instead of just whining.

If he feels so ashamed of himself he should go be productive, clean up his diet, and exercise regularly. I'm assuming he's still a schlubby nerd which is probably a big reason he feels like shit.

It's sad because I was a fan of his content - a long, long time ago now - but he really just needs to buck up, get a real job, and move on. It didn't work out, it doesn't for many people, get a fucking life dude before you waste away or kill yourself.

I am guessing even with this post he'll still be stuck in self pity paralysis and do nothing though.

You know, after all this time, I really do think that Spoony could still be somewhat popular. Shitting on dogshit is more popular than it's ever been, and there's so much more dogshit out there now. If fucking, famed retard disgusting fatbody Mauler can make fucking two and a half hour videos about how the Fallout Show betrays the games (Mauler has never played Fallout 1 and 2, or even New Vegas) and still net a million fucking views on it, somebody like Spoony, who can actually engage with content at a level deeper than "this bad" could do great.

Man, honestly, a review savaging the FF7 Remakes would still probably do gangbusters, he could do fucking timejanny skits, he could do so much.
But he won't, because he's sad and lazy.

These would come from whoever still remembers him and cares enough to drop a view and his style is completely at odds with what's popular on youtube now.

He benefits from several factors that Spoony wouldn't, chief amongst them being the length of the videos/streams which let them serve well as background noise on a second monitor.

I would be surprised if more than a small, painfully autistic, portion of his audience consumes EFAP as primary screen material regularly. Can only really see it working if the film in question is of particular interest to the viewer.

Meanwhile Spoony was known for relatively short form, or multi-part, content from an era when second monitors weren't as commonplace. If he were capable of being entertaining in unedited longform content then his streams wouldn't suck.

You're giving April too much credit. She certainly isn't responsible for Spoony wasting away, but she was content to let him do so while she lived in his house. Scarlett actually gave a fuck enough to crack the whip. People like Spoony are incapable of self-governing and it only fell apart when she dumped his ass and he had nobody holding him accountable any more.
