I looked into this and I would say it is less that Trump’s behavior is causing a row with Italy and more that Melina is using Trump’s unpopularity to boost her credibility in this year’s election.

Trump turned overwhelming, humongous military advantage into political defeat. I sincerely hope the one third who still love Trump read conservative news outlets beyond Fox. The Freepers might help chip into that hard core of worshippers. Trump cannot help referencing Obama which might cause some to look up his far better deal with Iran. Hopefully.
