Última edición por un moderador:
Newsom is one of the worst politicians around today, he would spell absolute disaster for the US. ---- People who are fans of Trump often come across like they forget how important the moderates are. Newsom’s sickness & the current liberal party lines, spewed by total sickos, about “trans children” & white hate, need to be repeatedly exposed, because people have short memories. Starving veterans on our streets, while illegal aliens are given $10k debit cards, monthly, needs to be used in “the discourse.” Thinking the next election will be a shoe-in will absolutely doom real progress, & allow foreign interests to prevail. I don’t think the US can survive that.
This is what I don't get about your argument. You keep saying moderates are important and that Newsom is dangerous.
These two ideas are incompatible with each other.
Newsom is probably the single worst politician with regards to moderates.

He seems suspicious, a poster pops up out of nowhere and starts attacking a leading Republican while copy pasting stuff like moderates and repeating retard right talking points when the real world disproved them.

It's clearly obvious now that Rubio is the heir apparent, and rightly so. I do not dislike Vance, but he has a fuck ton of baggage. He has also not really done anything, more active than the cackling Queen yes, but Rubio and Tulsi went above and beyond.

I have said before that my prediction is Rubio/Miller, but I think it is going to be Rubio/Gabbard, pending her husband's recovery. The RINO base would be pretty much gone by that point, too.
I'd love for a Miller VP but I don't see it in the cards. He's just not significant enough if a figure.

Now the same could of been said of Vance in 2024, but he was a Senator and had connections to the new Tech wealthly. Miller is extremely based, but rather niche to the greater electorate.

You pick a VP to bolster your campaign. Usually from an important swing State. Pence was to reach out to the evangelical Christians, Kamala was a compromise for the Progressives, and Walz was because he had access to billions in fraud.

Californians genuinely hate him. He was almost recalled for a reason and only wasn’t thanks to corruption
When it was getting close to the 2024 election and it was clear that Trump had it in the bag, I told this woman that fled CA that 'the democrats are going to push Newsom hard next'. She shook her head in disbelief and said everyone hates him. I said that doesn't matter.

lmao.
I thought he was an inoffensive white guy who might appeal to middle class whites.
but that turned out to be dead wrong.
So you're probably right that this is the real reason.

With regards to tech, it'll be interesting to see how that goes in the next election.
Both parties have been antagonistic to tech in different ways.

But GOP does seem more open to tech recently - but theyre having problems like fighting with Anthropic and trying to restrict exports.
Meanwhile the left elite seems sort of ambivalent to tech, but the base is currently on 'burn down datacenters' programming.

Oh they’ll push him, I’m just saying he’s not going to win without a ton of fraud.

People are sleeping on the French laundry scandal now, but all the high school kids from the Covid era will be voting in 2028 and when they get reminded that he was having high end dinner parties while stealing their “teenage experience”, they will absolutely not vote for him.

He’s unique in that he fucked over an entire generation and doesn’t seem to think that has consequences

They aren’t, nor was that my argument. How are they not connected ? Vote blue no matter who doesn’t care, & moderates will decide based off of debates & other campaign propaganda & promises. My argument is that complacency is not going to win the election. Vance does not appeal to moderates. Newsom has a leg up because of how Dem’s vote in blocks, plus the multitude of MSM allies on his side. That (unfortunately) goes a long way with moderates during election season. People will be looking for a return to normalcy, and prosperity. Underestimating Newsom based on personal opinion is perilous. Vance doesn’t have enough power to win right now. The 2028 election is coming sooner than later, and it’d be good to see more people taking it seriously, thinking about the whole, not just their own views. I see way too many people banking on Vance. He is weakest with moderates. If Newsom can capture them more than Vance, it’s over. I thought that was obvious. Nothing complicated about it.

Gavin Newsom is white. He has no political career beyond governor. You are fucking retarded at best if you think he has a shot.
