There's a Discord server for one of these kinds of games I've been in, where you can observe the grooming in real time. The userbase went from 99% normal 1% trans when it was first founded, to 48% trans in a mere four years - all while maintaining the same general culture.

As expected, EPI is a massive problem on that server, sex jokes and discussion of NSFW topics is extremely common despite it being against the rules and there being many minors there, because the discussion of EPI topics and 'memes' only ever happens when the moderators aren't looking. Apparently this happens on all of these kinds of servers.

So, several years ago, I was more active there, clueless to everything, and still a leftist, and I actually managed to befriend one of the trans users there. I have no idea how, but they proceeded to drag me into their online friend group where they, along with the rest of their friends, attempted to convince me that I should open up about my gender and said that my "egg" is about to "crack." One person thege insinuated that I was being abused by my real life peers so that my true "trans" self was being repressed. I was struggling with depression at the time, something the people there knew and took advantage of to recruit me to their cause.

I was a very young adult at the time, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were actual pedophiles in that group.

The thing is that, while what they did 100% was an act of grooming, they didn't see it that way. They genuinely believed that they were trying to help me and show me "the light."

Deltarune has cool concepts to me, yet being a fan of it is so insufferable because I'd be grouped together with Alicia Ackerson and xer cliqué if I showed support outside of the farms.
Noticing a fair amount of new users originate from similar tipping points, myself included: A tranny, or multiple ones, did repulsive shit through media. Obviously, there's preceding reasons as well.

It's got a lot of the hallmarks of troonslop:
  1. Poor or inappropriate use of religious imagery
  2. 1990's-2000's era technology (OMG GUYS REMEMBER FLIP PHONES AND CD PLAYERS?)
  3. Low res or pixelated art style
  4. Referencing past media/nostalgia-bait (REMEMBER MII'S??!!!??)
  5. Use of highly detailed, grotesque, or real images in the game's graphics (as seen in the character creation menu)
  6. Fucking discord on the in-game cellphone
If I looked up gameplay of this game I'm sure there would be even more troon red flags but I'm sure you get it at this point.

And gathering from this, it seems this guy is in his 20s (hypothetical, but accurate with the fake nostalgia) and is from Spain. So while I can't confirm nor deny this is indeed a troon, its definitely one of those traditionalist larper types. Doesn't help the actual discord contains some disgusting plebs.

The Homestuck-Undertale-Deltarune fandom bloodline seems to have a thing that makes them point out that they're fans at any given chance. They must express that they LOVE these three things (more evident on the UT/DR half) as if their life depended on it.
It's not exactly an unique trait to them, but i feel that there's something about this specific lineage that amplifies it more than any other fanbase.
Coincidentally, all three are infested by troons, another culture whose members are obsessed with pointing out that they're part of it.

Tried to look at oboetwoshoes's hour-long video of it. I'm only ten minutes in and holy fucking shit, the UI is like one of those memes that puts every video game interface into one screenshot

Also, it tries to wear Christian motives on its' sleeve, but it feels about as LARP'y as skinheads calling themselves (or being called) nazis.

Also, the dialogue windows come with no full stops. No periods. No dots. It just ends like this

Fucking hell, I feel like I'm watching a fake game from a sloppy TV show, not something you can actually pay for.

Half the game looks pretty cool (the late-PS2, post-Matrix kinda stuff) while the other half is ugly Cruelty Squad tier vomit. I almost wonder if he's colorblind, this max saturation red/green is just eye rape

Oboeshoes is great for identifying troonslop. It's always a 50/50 coinflip that he plays a Brazilian/Chinese asset flip or it's a crusty ass tranny game.

The problem is that the troons have more time they can spend on making games than tasteful, skilled people do. And not only that, they [troons] do not want to go through a full development cycle - they just want to push out their product, since no matter how well they'll make it, it'll somehow involve pushing their identity.

LilithCumSucker69 wakes up at 2PM, does not hold a job, and can spend the day's remainder on browsing 'cord and drawing pixelated textures for his epic retro project, modelling low polygon anime girls with huge breasts and composing kewl breakcore in FL Studio. He never actually thought about developing a game, he learned what game engines are and how to make PSX-style models in Blender last week - because he saw a 'cord mutual of his post some footage of his own amazing, gender-affirming video game.

Meanwhile, some John, a software engineer - who dreamed of making a game since childhood, is busy 9-5, working with data processing systems in a company. He comes home, cooks for himself, maybe reads a book, maybe walks his dog, if he has one - does some chores, checks his E-mail and perhaps goes to sleep, if there is no additional work.

There's next to no demand on retro troon games, but an almost never-ending supply, due to the demographic that makes them being unemployed and prevelent on the web.
