I disagree. I think Erudite will eventually turn on him. This most recent instance where Conor mentioned that she's frustrated with Destiny's behavior isn't the first time it's come up. He mentioned it on the In Person show once, and Kyla's DMs got leaked where she was talking about Destiny throwing a temper tantrum and not considering how it affected the people around him. She did do that very sad display of ring kissing recently, but you can tell she's trying to avoid showing her personal feelings publicly and stay on his good side. There's probably a variety of reasons for that, including loyalty, but I don't think she's as much of a Destiny devotee as she once was, and at some point she'll do a risk/reward calculation. She's very clearly already done one since she doesn't go on stream with him anymore. But if I were her I wouldn't want to get on his bad side while he's being a complete nut job. I think she's still using him for what she can use him for, but I think that only lasts as long as she gets something out of that friendship.

Realistically if she's smart, she'll just never say anything bad about Destiny but continue to put distance between them. I don't think he's very good with people in his orbit getting as big or bigger than him, so if she keeps relative distance and can kind of fade out of orbit while growing, that's her best shot at not drawing his ire. I think she's waiting until a lot of this dies off to really start separating because she knows that Destiny needs people in his corner right now and she runs the risk of getting him to resent her if she isn't.


Also, her influence now seems to be expanding beyond DGG. I see her getting more recognition by people I know and respect, and accounts I know and respect that have nothing to do with Destiny or DGG or politics in general, and I think she's probably starting to figure out how to be an attractive girl in that space. (Don't shoot me for calling her attractive, I've said plenty of mean things about her.) So she will need Destiny less and less as time goes on. She fills a niche that a lot of people want in a political commentator. If you think about it, you're really only going to dislike her if you know a lot about Destiny.

He very clearly has a lot of contempt for audience, way more than I think they realize.

You'd have to think your audience is dumb to simultaneously say that people shouldn't let Solo walk free because he's potentially a sex trafficker based on the word of Rose, but then get upset with Conor for trying to report someone he thinks may be a risk to their children based on their word. (They are dumb and don't link these two things in their mind because Destiny hasn't link these two things for them.)

If Destiny wanted to make a less stupid point he should just say that Conor shouldn't be doing it publicly, which is probably true. That is content brained and kinda gross and maybe not as altruistic as Conor may want people to think it is.

I don't think DGG think that highly of her anymore, do they? I don't really pay that much attention to them because I don't read reddit, but I don't get the impression that anyone really likes her that much. Who is sitting around waiting for Erudite content in DGG?

She might be at the front line of it if it benefits her, but I think she's smart enough to recognize that Destiny is going to have more controversies in the future. At some point he's a brand risk and she's clearly trying to build her own brand. I think most of the orbiters realize that at some point there's not much point in hitching your wagon to DGG because they and/or Destiny could turn on you at any point. Also, the difference between Lauren and Erudite is that we haven't really heard much about Lauren's frustrations from other people or in leaked DMs. Lauren seems to just think Destiny is kind of a rascal.

With Erudite, on the other hand, she's experienced Destiny not taking her and her projects seriously enough to really dedicate his time into working on them plus his personal life sabotaging things she's working on. I think this is significantly different than Lauren and way closer to Conor.

Plus with Destiny demonetized on YouTube, what point is there in working with him if she is actually trying to build her brand and make a career out of this? Her entire thing has been about building bridges with other people, building coalitions, etc and Destiny has made it very clear that he is not capable of doing that.
