Nights like this almost make me feel bad because it’s such a clear display of how he’s not playing with a full deck of (Pokémon) cards. He really is just a weird-looking, mentally unwell autistic adult man who takes the stupidest shit completely seriously.

Then he keeps talking and reminds me what an annoying faggot he is and I stop feeling bad. And on and on the snortex whirls…
 
Straight up lying about the regular Greninja being the top card in the set is such a DSP move.
Ridiculous lie, easily verifiable as a lie and triples down on it for no other reason besides, “haha trolls I pulled an expensive card.”

I had the same thought a couple times, but it's important to remember this pigger just ACTUALLY has an insane self-delusion about how he looks. He's mentioned without a trace of irony multiple times that he looked like a "younger Bill Murray."

It's almost admirable that a man so ugly can love himself so much, but in his case it's not because he accepts who he is, it's because his mental illness prevents him from seeing who he really is. It's like a terminal narcissist defense mechanism.

The opinions that people are debating whether they agree with Phil on or not aren’t even, to my perception, actual opinions he has. Phil is a lizard creature. When he states an “opinion” on his streams he does it in the exact same way he has always stated “opinions” dating all the way back to his attempts to get attention on fighting game forums, or on his shitty Top Haters website. Everything he says is meant to either bait engagement (pure projection when he insults others for doing this), show what a special snowflake he is by being contrarian to a widely held opinion, or try to bait donations.

I am 100% convinced Phil does not even know what he himself believes. About much of anything, at this point, if he ever did. He operates under so many layers of deflection, delusion, and strange neuroses that anyone trying to piece together his belief system or find consistent opinions of his that aren’t the most generic common sense, is liable to lose their mind.

I'm super late to this topic (also I've noticed sometimes my post simply doesn't show up), but this is pretty much it.

Phil doesn't have opinions, Phil makes aesthetic choices. None of Phil's statements have anything to do with his underlying relationship of the topic or product in question, it only has to do with his relationship with himself as a person. Phil is quite literally incapable of interacting with any piece of media in any meaningful way because he is a fundamentally incurious person. If Phil was to ever interact with anything that poses a question about his character he would immediately dismiss it or just go with whatever is beneficial to him at that particular moment.

This is a constant you can see going as far back as his FGC days. He had absolutely zero interest on the professional fighting game community as an entity or as a community, his sole interest was his role in it. That's why he always has to remind people of who he used to be: ST2, MvC2, EVO and all that are merely symbols of status. Same goes for 90s culture, he doesn't have any connection to it beyond telling people about how he was a part of it. That's why he has this compulsive need to say he played "Pokémon One" even though it's clear to anyone he obviously didn't.

Factor in the talk of "store credit" and shit and he easily just could've bought the card to justify why he is blowing as much money as he is.

Time for his chat to be filled with people asking for proof that he actually opened a box worth of packs lmao

Yup, I was a bit suspect when he had to preface that he'd get have a MA(YU)SSIVE announcement about how his boxes aren't resealed and he JUST SO HAPPENED to get a big money card AHFF STREAM! It reeks of that time when DSP Jr. aka Pirate Software aka Malding Fagtree JUST SO HAPPENED to beat an extremely hard puzzle in a video game off stream and said that "it took him a long time to figure it out."
