I think it would be very funny if Sam had Hapa kids but I am def in the "Sam is way too paranoid to impregnant a woman" camp. If you've ever heard what Sam thinks about marriage it's not a huge stretch to imagine he isn't ever going to have kids. I also think if Sam had kids with a woman he hated or had a falling out with he totally would not pay child support and would be in legal hot water from that.

The only thing that makes me think he does have a secret hapa kid is the podcast episode with Adam Friedland. Adam asked Sam and Nick whether they had kids. Nick replies that he has two, then Sam starts to talk but there's a hard-cut to a different part of the conversation. If he didn't have a secret kid, why the hard-cut? That sort of confirmed the shinobazooka kid thing to me.

For way less credible evidence, there's a commenter on youtube (maybe here too) that's posted on several videos saying his roommate worked at some Italian restaurant and Sam would come in every week with some Asian girl and a kid.

I'm not saying that it's definitive proof of anything, it was just a weird moment. He could've just said "no" and moved on, instead he said something that he wanted removed. Keeping something private from the audience is different than keeping it a secret from people who actually know him.

There's also the redditor that works at a Cafe Sam goes to that said he shows up with a kid and wife.

And I vaguely remember Harley Morenstein mentioning Sam's "kid" in a video during the boxing training arc. He said something like "you've seen the Sam Hyde mirror videos? Yeah well I met the kid". At the time it didn't seem literal but who knows.

I'm very much of the belief that he has a kid. It tracks with his evolving religious views and occasional parenting advice.

I'd honestly hesitate to call Sam a lolcow, I'm not as religious a follower in the Sam Hyde lore as some of the others in this thread, but I've been a subscriber to MDE.tv for a little over a year and yeah, I hate to say it but it's clear in recent months he's fallen off. The last Perfect Guy Life was over a month ago, his recent content before that was just not there, and he was hyping up a "massive WR attempt for world's longest stream", said he was going to get Asmongold, do some TTRPG stuff, but there was really nothing. I admired him, I loved his older works and even had some fun with PSC. What's happened to him?

The niggas 60 years old. His OG fans are married with children. The only way he can stay relevant with an active audience is to pander to the shitty algorithms and kids with TikTok brain. He's also set for life and is making a quarter mill a month off his MDE.tv subscriptions. Someone did the math in here already. He has set himself up for longevity long term success whether he's funny like the old days or not.
 
The current lapse of PGL is because they are filming a second season of EP, which is also why I think PSC was paused and the sub goal they had was partly incentive to keep filming episodes of PSC while they were busy with EP.
