Too bad it's likely illegal, but Josh needs to re-point his DNS to the standard cloudflare IP addresses when this happens and he needs some time to fix stuff.

I was going to fedpost and suggest FBI.GOV and then I realized they're using cloudflare.

Yes, they don't seem to understand that each time they do this, it just galvanizes the Kiwi resolve and makes people that much more likely to donate to KF. Nothing makes people more likely to do something that someone saying "You can't do that, and I'm going to try and stop you just because I don't like it!"

I can think of a few grifters and techcows on both sides of the political spectrum with both a history of doing legally questionable shit and throwing large sums of money at bullying people who criticize them.

This is a great idea for multiple reasons:
  • users can finally keep their own backups of all site media by simply pinning your root IPNS which you can auto-update - no hassle with constantly switching out torrents
  • tech-savvy users can permissionlessly donate media storage and bandwidth to you by pinning the entire site's IPNS root or those of sub-sections they're interested in preserving
  • you introduce a new type of support that side-steps your own debanking: non-technical users can pay banked IPFS pinning services like Pinata to keep your content pinned

From what I was reading earlier in the thread, this tranny spent a shit ton of money just to give Null one sleepless night (and I think he still squeezed in a nap), and now everything's back to normal. Seems like a pretty big loss for the tranny
