The worst part is there are actual arguments to be made about Israeli interests buying out this primary, which should be taken as a serious concern, but Massie knotted so much of his own noose the warning only falls deaf to most ears or is heard by the most brainraped jackasses on Xitter.

As I said in the thread for this news: I liked Massie. His stunt with the Freedom Caucasus in 2023 where they trolled the shit about of Biden by refusing to confirm the House Speaker and forcing negotiations was great, as was some of his attacks on Democrat and RINO agenda, but he sabotaged himself when he started attacking Trump on immigration and on the Epstein files by constantly boosting the idea that Trump was in them as a perpetrator of abuse. Much like that one guy who was gonna run in Ohio to stop Vivek from shitting it up who then shot his own foot off with Epstein spergout he forgot that real life isn't twitter and politics is the art of the possible.

He could have survived if all he did was complain about Iran and Israeli influence. But he didn't do that, did he? He went full anti-Trump. He let perfect be the enemy of good, destroy massive amounts of goodwill he could have used to stay in the good graces of voters with shit like siding with the DNC in attacking ICE and helping obvious smear jobs by them to tie Trump to Epstein. I find it hard to believe he really thought that the Democrats were being honest and good faith about that, but who knows. Maybe he really thought they weren't just gonna backstab him the moment it became convenient, that the scorpion word's would have any meaning.

I also think that the main reason he got fucked is not the Epstein stuff as obnoxious as he got on that, and most certainly not because of his Israel attacks. If anything his positions on Israel and anti-AIPAC probably kept him from losing hard. My opinion is that it was his attacks on ICE that really killed his chances in the long run. Joining the DNC to sperg out about "jackboot thugs in Minneapolis" was just one step too far to most voters. It was obvious to anyone paying attention that Minneapolis was a manufactured crisis by Walz to try and distract from his massive fraud and here you have the guy who says he is trying to expose the rotten in the US politics falling for it like a total rube. He could have easily just complained about the Pretti shooting in the same way a lot of people did without being total smooth brain about ICE being Gestapo, but he just couldn't help himself. He fell for the propaganda op hook, line and sinker and drove away his supporters to stand in solidarity with people who purposefully pushed ICE into doing jobs they shouldn't be doing so they could bait them into altercations and complain about it and play victim.

I love Massie losing but step back and look at the difference between a Dem stronghold like NYC and a Republican stronghold like KY 4:

Dems endorse their extremists (see AOC/Mamdani) who talk extreme but moderate in office. Dems are able to effectively organize online through systems like the DSA to normalize these radical thoughts with many moderate young dems radicalizing (Calla Walsh being a prime example). The Democrat party itself is low on resources and while it initially resisted this, they seem to have given up. Status quo (Eric Adams/Cuomo) is dead.

Republicans seem to prefer the status quo with a no name winning solely off Trump endorsements vs an incumbent who went for the Podcast Right (Tucker/Owens/MTG) vote. What's interesting is that Massie clearly knew this wouldn't work in his district, hence his local ads pretending to be on Trump's side. This election was laying the foundations of his future media career. Regardless, it shows that the Podcast Right has a strong minority in Republican strongholds. Unfortunately, we cannot actually measure the power of the Podcast right due to Massie's faking of Trump endorsements very likely corrupting low information Republicans. The Podcast right is the strongest right wing movement online but at best, they cannot win a primary with everything stacked in their favor.

Dems are heading towards extremism, Republicans prefer Trump and the status quo.
