Destiny is in America and Ian is in Canada. It is a lot easier to sue for defamation in Canada than the USA. Ethan almost certainly doesn't have a viable case against Destiny. He might have one against Ian.

On top of this, Ian was a "friend" who sided with CPS being called on his kids. There is obviously more emotion towards Ian in this situation for Ethan. There's probably like a handful of people who have actually read all of the court documents (listening to Destiny do a dramatic reading of certain filings doesn't count). Have we considered Dan Saltman’s long history of using prank calls for harassment? It’s possible he was the one who contacted CPS, especially since he arguably benefited most from the situation. Perhaps Ethan was hesitant in moving forward with the lawsuits, and Saltman provided the necessary 'push' to move forward. It seems like Saltman is simply using Ethan as a front for his own gayops, the timing supports this theory as the CPS call occurred after Ethan registered his work with the Library of Congress, but before he officially started any lawsuits.
