It's cathartic seeing someone who thinks and says the "correct" things get bullied to no end in sight, serves as a reminder to the sentiment of "I'm not actually a bigoted asshole, leftists are just that awful to relatively normal people", even if Will isn't entirely normal on paper.

His childlike appearance and rosy cheeks only adds to the endearment. It's almost like watching Wil Wheaton get bullied for posting his generically progressive slop.

I think struggle is the best translation for "Kampf" in this context. I'd literally translate battle as "Schlacht", which would carry the same meaning or implication as in Battle of the Bulge or Battle of Iwo Jima.
Mein Kampf is literally about his struggle, his prolonged fight in a more general sense, so I think that it fits best.

It's heavily context dependant, translations are pretty much never clean. I wouldn't go as far as saying that Kampf = struggle in every use case of the word. Panzerkampfwagen translated literally would be armored combat vehicle, in my opinion. My struggle just fits best for the tone the book is written in and the intention behind the title.
