Not sure about that one. The Trump phone originally said MADE IN USA on the site, and then changed it to something more vague that means not made in USA but still says USA after people started asking questions.
Edit: Looks like they might have removed the USA language entirely but they did do that in one of penguinz0's videos.
Edit: Nevermind it does still say "Proudly American" while 100% definitely not being made in the USA if it is ever even made.
IIRC right at the beginning of this scam some people dug around and found that the would be manufacturers of the phone and its parts were either based directly in China or were companies whose majority shares were owned by a Chinese company.
Though it's not like you needed to do any research into it, it's impossible to make a modern smartphone that's %100 American and sell it for a cheaper price than its competition, you'd need to be an actual brainlet to believe that.

Honestly, if Trump was even 5% smart, he'd do like most of his other buddies in car companies and other industries do. Have the parts made in China, have them be partly assembled in Vietnam/Mexico, and send them to the US for "final adjustments/finishing the manufacture". That way, they can legally put the "made in USA" sticker on it.
It was the freedom phone or something and it was a rebranded ZTE phone. Huawei doesn't do white labelling and they're running their own operation system after all the sanctions. They're using their own processor too.
We could have had their phones to balance out the Samsung apple duopoly but no, when China does better at capitalism, they're doing it wrong. When we use clearly socialist policies to favour failing businesses, it's a good thing and the taxpayers should just accept it.
Huawei is a lot like this forum in several ways. They're banned everywhere, they're told to make their own thing.
When they do, they're told they're doing it wrong and restricted further. I hate their marketing but it's clear that they were unfairly treated. Their phones aren't even cheap.

Just like how WW2 was exclusively about saving Jewish lives and how the Revolution was exclusively about Taxation and Representation. Yes Slavery was the main issue, but let's not pretend that other factors weren't involved. Economic struggles, moral panics, foreign interference, the same works that go into any war.
