It's better to sit alone, bored, depressed and lonely than to surround yourself with fake activity, which is something I struggle with.
It is absolutely not, it’s hard to stop doing that, I understand believe me, but it’s quite literally the worst possible state of being you can have. It will lead to one of two things if you don’t escape it, you will either kill yourself, or worse, you WILL find a group of “friends” who will either troon out, or troon YOU out (it’s happened to better men)
So what's left? "Grinding" at a job. Okay, now you got money. Can't buy a house, no hobbies, no friends or family.
you absolutely can and will own a house, NACA and USDA loans will let you buy a house with 0 money down and below a 5% interest rate, it’s harder then a conventional loan yeah, but even if you are on a fixed income (NEET bux, or just totally disabled) they absolutely are an option. And you wanna know how you meet people? You go outside. Also, the housing market is heading towards correction, take a look at the numbers anywhere that isn’t prime LA, NYC, or Miami.
Die with a bit of money to your name?
try “not being tortured to death by Jamaican nurses in a state run nursing home” worst case scenario, you truly are a fundamentally unloveable CHUD (you aren’t, but your miserable, and it unironically is a feedback loop, that is presented in your physiognomy, you could be Clavicular, and if you are truly unhappy, then it will project that energy) then you can at the very least escape the worst fate imaginable.
You could be spending that money on a compound bow and equipment, shooting in your local club in which you might meet someone who also hunts with his bow, and suddenly your saturday is spent in the forest from 6AM waiting for a deer to appear.
you absolutely could, and you can be happy that way, meet people, build a family. Are you going to do it? Also consider you will be doing it in the middle of no where, which IS absolutely fine, you won’t even necessarily have to grind as hard. BUT you are still going to have to grind to do that. You could be a welfare goo person, and I don’t know the circumstances you grew up in, but it won’t be a middle class life, any kids you have will have a harder time, and maybe you don’t want that, and it’s fine, but consider that if you do, every financial action you take once you know you do should be one that aims to leave your children in a better position then you were.
I watched a random video of two dudes hitchhiking across the US and they got into high-end luxury parties and drughouses alike just from being out there in the street and talking to people. Extroverts are insane to witness and there's a bunch of PoV shorts on tiktok/youtube about it. A dude just going around social-maxxing and it rarely goes well but the times it do, wowee buddy. That could be your wife right there. It's scary and addictive to try new things. Zoomers are gooning over japan yet their bestie and wife could live 3 mins away - if they actually went the fuck outside.
you can also just go do shit, “freewillmaxxing” is real, but you have to go do it, if you just sit around thinking about doing something your just making yourself miserable. Also keep in mind all social media is fake, those people aren’t as happy as you think they are, there lives are not glamorous, it’s there job to make you think they are happy.
Your clearly not an idiot, your just miserable dude, and that’s not an insult, or something to be ashamed of, most young people are. But you’ve got to shake yourself out of it, it’s fucking HARD. But you will eventually, and you don’t want it to be when you’re 32, and you wasted your 20’s not even trying different things to find something you might enjoy. If all your doing is the bare minimum, then fuck it, why not try as many different BS jobs as you can find (which I know is hard, but it is possible, the longest periods I’ve ever been unemployed in my life was 3 months during COVID, and a 1 months stretch after I moved back home after a breakup, and that only only happened because I was retarded and forgot to change my address from where I was previously on my resume) and find one you don’t hate, once you find one that doesn’t make you fantasize about doing a mass casualty attack, talk to guys, shoot the shit, make connections, and you will be shocked at the doors that open. I can’t tell you exactly how, or what to look for, because it’s spontaneous, but if you show up on time, and you’re friendly, people WILL notice. Hang in there dude, and I’ll pray for you, and if you persist you can pull yourself out of the mental rut your in.
