I hear you but a longer sentence would bring the message home that those who disrespect Korea and Koreans, especially the 'comfort women', will pay, in spades, no pun intended.

During 39 months in the country the thought of disrespecting either South Korea or the South Korean people never even came to mind, even with a few beers under the belt. The sex offender registry is expected to follow Johnny back to the US, which he will have trouble leaving. He'll be in international databases even if he fails to register on his own.
