He really is just trying to speedrun this game and not actually do stuff that gives him power.

It's wild how one of Phil's big complaints was "I don't want to have to go off and upgrade my gear and stats to beat a boss".

His entitlement and delusion never cease to amaze me.

He's been doing this since Persona 3. He refuses to even engage in game mechanics.

Nah, I think Phil was definitely "passionate" or at least enjoyed making videos early on. There was a period where he genuinely seemed to enjoy games and cracking his shitty jokes over them, probably best seen with Mass Effect where he'd played the game 4 times offline and then decided he'd record it for Youtube. Funnily enough, that playthrough also shows peak DSP autism because he played the game 4 times with the exact same build and made the exact same choices each time.

Mighty D actually made a clip comparing his Lollipop Chainsaw gameplay back then compared to his revisit last year. The difference is staggering. It's like his soul is gone and he's replaced with some sort of fishman lizard goblin thing.

Now the only thing he seems to be passionate with is seeing big burly muscle men on screen. Like when you go look at his Routine playthrough he has that standard "me grumpy" face he does every time he plays a game but when he sees the with the big muscle man that has a bucket on his head he actually looks like he enjoys playing it.

At this point its shocking he hasn't just searched "overpowered crimson desert" on YouTube and watch a video there are thousands of them showing step by step how to get OP and we know he does this for shit like souls games. He really just wants to drop the game and didn't think he would get as much support as he has.

The only reasonable explanation is that he wants the game to fail. He's purposefully trying to generate an angry ragequit moment he can use as an excuse to quit the game. The ridiculous exaggerations like "They want me to grind for 25 hours to beat this boss!" are a dead giveaway.

Agreed, I think Phil enjoyed playing games early and the relatively positive reputation he had online. Then he understandably got burned out pumping out tons of videos and playing every new game. Then he streamed soon after around 2013 which I doubt he ever wanted to do.

An understated reason for why Phil is what he is, he's been streaming video games for ~15 years while being massively burned out on them. Then add in the other mistakes around that time such as moving across the country while he's functionally a child, getting into mobile games where he can just pay to win...

Perhaps the most amusing part about DupliGate is that Phil can't do the same thing with Crimson Desert now without being heavily scrutinized. But then again, that would also imply that Phil is motivated to finish a game at all when his tranny findom Ryan doesn't pay for it.

YES!!! You can literally leave the area at any fuckin moment. But remember guys.... HE DID NOTHING WRONG. HE DID EVERYTHING CORRECT!

This is about 100 times more hilarious than the excavator rage quit because he is wasting his items reviving himself and then immediately gets vaporized.

And repeats it for an entire hour with zero adjustment to his strategy.

He struggled on the Elder Ring tree asshole knight boss thing instead of walking around and getting a few levels. Now ... if he was one of the best gamers in the US, I would expect him to kill the boss without leveling. But he is a fucking retard.

I'm playing it and nah it's all open world as fuck like Skyrim, now grinding is a little different there isn't levels per se rather you either are rewarded the points or grind enough through fighting which takes a long time the points to upgrade your stats and skills.

You can go look at other videos of people fighting that boss just like any souls boss not overleveled or anything they just parry do full combo repeat and if the boss teleports they do a quick focus time slow thing and repeat. DSP doesn't even do the bread and butter combo you see most people do and certainly doesn't do the blinding flash combo that is a bunch of damage for 1 skill point.

He just doesn't get the combat is what you make of it if you are just holding down attack and spamming focus to try and parry it's gonna be boring as fuck just like if you play Elden Ring and spam jump R2 with two handed weps....wait that's what he did for a bunch of the time lol. His Elden Ring shit was so fucking boring to watch just abusing super broken shit the entire time and as soon as he ran into a wall he would shit on the game.
