Let's do a quick headcount of all the TNO reduxes that have failed:
So far we have:
-TNO Redux (The one that sparked the whole Slackjawed spat)
-RU-TNO
-TNO Redux (4Chan)
-TNO Project Restoration

The only two left standing to the present day are Requiem and RA. Requiem is held up by a "soft" realism crowd, something something, TNO factions meme circa 2022, but it's also hosted on Discord which makes it much more unstable and the lead dev gets pretty assmad about inconsequential stuff like Glenn. Though they generally put out high quality content.

RA, on the other hand, is a one man project and dies without GoodWinSon, the fact that it's held up by the autism of one man instantly nullifies any factionalism, I sure as Hell couldn't maintain RA on my own. The fact that it isn't hosted on Dicksword is also a plus, but that goes without saying. Unlike TNOR there's no expectation for us to suck tranny gock and Jewsh runs a tight ship so there's no risk of us getting brigaded, and none of the (lead) devs are 14 (), but we definitely need more quality control.

Also don´t forget that TNORA with less manpower than the San Marino republic and a budget off memes and Lols, is doing more advances in content and roadplanning in some months than the entire TNO Post Panzer/Slack collapse.
And even if Goodwinson retires i think everybody could try to take the mantle and continue the vision if possible.

Ok I have a request for @Sooty Soot right now. For The TFR Middle East Expansion submod, I would like to see the Fursan al-Aqsa in the mod. They start off as a division with the game's protagonist Ahmad al-Falastini as a selectable general. But both can come to power as a political faction with Ahmad as a leader.

It needs to have funny Israeli death events like in the game. Like feeding an Israeli to a Lion and a Shark and giving Netanyahu the Direlwanger treatment.

Been thinking about implementing AIDS as a mid-70s crisis caused by returning soldiers from the SAW, like someone in this thread talked about, I think it was @Rome's rightful successor. Ordered by how affected they would be, the USA, Germany, and Japan will have to deal with it. Germany and Japan will be able to use it to their advantage politically outside of actually fighting the disease since it mostly ravages America and is spread mainly by homos who no matter what path they go down will always be rejected, but America will be impacted differently depending on who the president is.

For example, explicitly leftist presidents like Harrington and McGovern will be impacted negatively by the virus on top of having to combat it, while rightist presidents like Kirkpatrick and Goldwater can use it to their advantage politically at the cost of stability like what @Computer God Autism posted about some time ago with the Great Depression.

Centrist presidents like McNamara won't be impacted too much since they're middle-of-the-road. Hall and Yockey are edge cases, and will be able to gain from the AIDS pandemic to a greater extent, Hall through his Lavender Scare and Yockey because of his alignment with National Socialism. Until at least America gets 70's content, I think we can just restrain it to a simple decision category. Maybe have Harvey Milk be patient zero for the memes.

@Aero the Alcoholic Bat inspired me to being the process of assembling this. That said, a few hours in I have page 1/19 completed and have a 12 page 5,500 word document to show for it. In the interest of getting input before I put in all of this work, and holding myself accountable by needing to deliver here I will be copying my progress here. It is an extremely enlightening and compelling read in my opinion. Given I am primarily aiming to make one sharable document with the full archive, I am going to attach that file and then copy+paste its contents here. I will fix some formatting...

In this reality, would AIDs even get the label of a "Gay Disease"? My understanding, though it could be wrong, is that AIDs is so rampant in Africa that it could infect someone from numerous different sources. If a bunch of soldiers start returning home with HIV, I would imagine most would have been infected by unclean medical facilities, tainted blood, and other general combat related sources. Of course, that could be part of crisis, with certain paths either destigmatizing the virus, or going hard into labelling it a gay disease.

Edit: Actually, thinking a little more on it, in this setting HIV/AIDS would probably be seen as a family decimating disease. Husband, who is returning from war in South Africa, gives it to Wife, wife, through either blood contact, breast milk, or being pregnant when she contracted HIV, spreads it to her Children, who then spread it further. The AIDS Crisis we saw in the 80s in this situation would probably be destroying entire suburban areas as people contracted it.

Yeah, it could be labeled as the "African Plague", the "Soldier's Sickness" or the "Negro Disease" (maybe a hard sell on the Steam workshop but undoubtedly one of the names AIDS could receive during this time)

Or maybe do some sort of reference to the Spanish Flu and real life conspiracy theories? Maybe add an event where some in the OFN believe AIDS to be some sort bioweapon engineered by the Nazi forces to harm OFN nations in the long term, due to this belief, a censorship program is (the player has the choice to implement it, especially if the war ended in a stalemate or a cease fire, could give a bonus to base stability but some negative effect should also be put in place to force the player to judge whether to implement it or not) put into place and news of the disease get suppressed until the origin of the disease is found (or not) in OFN nations (and African mandates if they exists), however, it receives the most attention in South Africa with many newspapers and news agency labelling the "South African Illness", which fuels the rumor that this new virus originates from South Africa proper and not from returning SAW vets.

Maybe it could change depending on which President was in office? A more progressive leaning one would mean lead to a name like "Soldier's Sickness", a middle of the road one would lead to "African Plague", and a more far right one would lead to "Negro Disease".

I had actually thought up a event chain in my head. In 1962 you get a event detailing this unknown disease ravaging homosexual communities in San Francisco and else where, you can then either ignore it or continue down that path. Ignoring it ends the event chain, but when the South African War starts, no knowledge of HIV/AIDS leads to increased infection amongst soldiers, and later leads to a massive epidemic. Following the event chain eventually leads to the CDC recognizing HIV/AIDS, and means that soldiers returning from the SAW have a lower infection rate and means the epidemic either doesn't happen or is way less severe.

I honestly don’t know why base tno doesnt doesn’t do this. Other than them having to admit to some controversial facts, Like Aids being spread primarily through gay and bisexual men constantly sucking and fucking along with africa being super gay on the down low.
