Have been playing the new update for Collapsing World and I wished more mods would keep their self aware sillyness.


Gavrilo Princip's Bosnia has a interesting way to play. My civilian industry is almost non-existant. I need the few civ factories I have to trade for Steel with the Sicilian Mafia. My army consists of basic infantry units with some liberated artillery, who are just enough to grind off the enemy forces until my troops can form encirclements. It feels like you're actually controlling a gloryfied bandit army instead of just changing your country's colour to black and adding 100 events how everybody is a wholesome big chungus in an anarchistic utopia.

For those who are disappointed by the current state of TNO there is now a mod called The New Order: Project Restoration.
It's still brand new and in it's early stages so there's still a lot to be ironed out from but so far it's the most successful attempt at a TNO redux.

Right now they are adding back some of the content cut from TNO over the years and integrating old submods. They are also planning on adding new content but they are a small but rapidly growing team. They have not release a road map yet. I'm sure they want to make TNO actually fun but keep in mind they have just begun and it's a long process.

I'm predicting a tranny coder civil war by December 20, 2024 and the mod ends up dead in the water. Call me a cynic but I've seen this happen like at least fifteen times.

TNO: Project Restoration was mentioned here before, joined it for a while and noticed some shit hitting the fan.

TNO Fans are pissy because the owner doesn't like the tranny and LGBT Stuff among other topics, Has been getting called a Nazi and other things by the usual crowd of speds that you'd expect from the TNO Community.

As i'm writing this, the owner accidentally pinged the entire server and there's a shit fight over stuff.
Don't wanna be that guy, but i do think a lot of these speds are likely gonna wind up fucking over the mod in some way or another, which is a shame.

I still can't fucking believe that a Brony mod has hardly any Drama. I gotta give them credit, i shit on the whole MLP theme and stuff, but their mod is not only pretty fucking well made and the devs are pretty talented. plus they actually make content

As for TNO: PR. Truthfully i had a feeling they wouldn't last, Owner didn't give a true fuck about LGBT stuff and as a result, that got him labeled as all sorts of autistic shit. on top of some somewhat controversial statements he made in regards to the Russian Liberation Army/ROA

If a good chunk of the TNO Community's perception is that somebody who doesn't hold Fags on a high standard compared to literally anybody else is immediately a fascist, then yeah mod teams like TNO: PR aren't gonna last with that target audience, it's simply not going to work in the long run, you'll be ostracized from pretty much any other TNO Submod (Which a Source from the dev team has told me, is what occured, with other submods jumping on the "Fascist" bandwagon) On top of those retards then having ties with Modding servers etc.., which creates a Chinese Whispers effect.

Probably the final thing i'll add to the TNO: Project Restoration shit show. This is a leaked message from their dev only server. Turns out apart from that insider within the team, they've discovered that a majority of the attacks are coming from the 2WRW Submod, These are the same guys who if i recall were the main tards shouting "Fascist"

I think the issue is that everyone can agree Stroessner is a monster that no one really likes (unless its for edgy memes like Dirlewagner).

He doesn't even have a cult of personality like Peron or Pinochet where people can justify some kind of moral virtue behind them "oh, Peron was a man of the people!" / "Pinochet enacted Total Commie Death!"

Glenn and Beria though both kind of have a cult of personality behind them, the former being the cool NASA space man who is beloved in old TNO for having Superman-levels of optimism around him and the other is due to muh "Stalinism is heckin' based" therefore Beria dindunuffin. I guess with how tense everyone is about the Epstein shit and pedophiles in general having anyone who could be "likeable" but also carry that baggage might be more trouble than its worth?

He used to be the lead of Heldenvolk which is a submod that tried to add Free Dutch content in South America. He's currently the lead for TNO: Requiem and has been since last summer so I'd be shocked if he hasn't been mentioned here before. Only times he gets brought up on 4chan is over dev fighting on Discord mostly involving the old 2WRW leads that split off from the mod over the Antarctica map.

So far we have:
-TNO Redux (The one that sparked the whole Slackjawed spat)
-RU-TNO
-TNO Redux (4Chan)
-TNO Project Restoration

The only two left standing to the present day are Requiem and RA. Requiem is held up by a "soft" realism crowd, something something, TNO factions meme circa 2022, but it's also hosted on Discord which makes it much more unstable and the lead dev gets pretty assmad about inconsequential stuff like Glenn. Though they generally put out high quality content.

RA, on the other hand, is a one man project and dies without GoodWinSon, the fact that it's held up by the autism of one man instantly nullifies any factionalism, I sure as Hell couldn't maintain RA on my own. The fact that it isn't hosted on Dicksword is also a plus, but that goes without saying. Unlike TNOR there's no expectation for us to suck tranny gock and Jewsh runs a tight ship so there's no risk of us getting brigaded, and none of the (lead) devs are 14 (), but we definitely need more quality control.
