Iran’s Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, is possibly piloting his own plane to Islamabad
He’s licensed on the Airbus A321, which is the same plane headed to Islamabad now.
Qalibaf famously flew into Beirut with an Iranian delegation during ongoing bombings in 2024.
The Iranian delegation has landed in Islamabad, Pakistan. Another Iranian plane, carrying Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, will land in some minutes. Both decided to take two different planes for security reasons.

Makes sense, Rome was converted to Christanity with the faith imposed from the top down and gradually accepted by the populace over a century. The faith had time to settle in and didn't disrupt the continuity of Roman statehood. Meanwhile, Islam conquered Persia by force as foreign overlords, and Persian was reduced to a pre-literate language for 200 years. Hezbollah beard guy is right in that there is nothing in common with Pre-islamic Iran and Iran today, and Iran has spent most of Islamic rule under foreign leadership, with even today most of Iran's ruling class coming from Azeri roots.
