Lol no joke - A few years ago I played a show in Dallas and there was snow or whatever the Texans called "snow" that day. It actually looked like a barely there layer of white sand blowing across the street and no joke, it was just bedlam. The driver who picked me up from the airport told me that accidents were off the charts because Texans have no idea how to drive in snow and have no infrastructure to deal with it like snow plows. He told me they'd have to go slow on the highway to my hotel because the cars were sliding all over. He dropped me off at my hotel and I walked to a Subway sandwich shop to grab a quick bite and there was a sign in the window "Closed due to snowstorm". I'd have to dig it out but I know I have a photo somewhere I took of the front of that shop with the sign and the view of the sidewalk where most of the dusting had already blown away. It was like some bizzare Monty Python skit. At least it was to this New Yorker where back home this wouldn't have even been reported as more than a sunny day.
