They spent ten years (will be 12 by 2028 ) now training people to hate Trump to excuse the horrible shit the Democrats get up to, and he will probably back out of politics entirely and they won't know what to do. A decade is plenty of time to completely wipe out their ability to do any form of political debate without using the Trump Boogeyman, and there's no way in hell they will be able to build up enough hatred against Vance.

Democrats' biggest problem is their fanaticism. People don't want their policies. They don't want their daughters changing with boys at school, they don't want teachers transitioning their sons. They don't want to import infinity browns. They don't want to drive an EV so that John Kerry or whoever can go and fly his private jet to elite Climate Conferences. They don't want their jobs going to China. But, instead of moderating themselves on any one of these positions, the Democrats (the wider Western Left in general) have decided that the problem is they're not forcing the issues on people hard enough, that if they somehow find the right magical words they can somehow make all these policies palatable to the average voter and thwart the rise of the Right that they're so afraid of.
