How is it winning if Trump agrees to a proposal that the opposition made as a point to begin negotiations?

Its winning because all people are going to remember is that he threatened to destroy Iran's civilization a few hours before he agreed to the Iranian ceasefire terms. Talking big and backing down is what Trump always does. The mainstream media spent the whole day talking about the impending brown holocaust and now the story shifts to the brown holocaust not happening.

Its a magnificient PR victory for Trump himself which is really all that ever matters.

The amount of people who haven't figured out, after a decade of this, that you take Trump seriously but not literally has seriously destroyed what little faith I had left in humanity. I guess I understand how Trump can do the same thing for 40 years and the press is too fucking stupid to figure it out, I'd just hoped people with actual human intelligence could figure it out.
It is hard not to despair when you realize the truth of George Carlin's words:
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

ah, you're one of those people who will only use their own spice mixes for things

as a fellow neurotic control freak, i understand
If you can get the base ingredients, homemade spice blends are generally superior. A spice starts losing its flavor and scent as soon as it has been ground. What do you think will be more flavorful? A blend of cayenne, cumin, and onion that was ground 9 months ago and has been sitting on a shelf? Or one ground 9 minutes ago?

I agree. Sounds like a fine plan for dinner tonight.

Here’s the thing, America already de facto controls the strait, Iran ‘opening’ it would just help insurance companies calm the fuck down, but will insurance companies actually do so?

Iran’s forces are in such disarray that they may not even be able to enforce the ceasefire effectively.

This may be more symbolic than anything else.

Every single point of Iran's plan is capitulation. Cope however you want but its 100% a surrender terms that codifies Iran's gains in the war. Even agreeing to entertain them is a humiliation considering the reasons we pretended to enter the war upon.
Wtf is Iran gaining? The only thing they've gotten in this war is shrapnel scattered all over the place and a pair of boxers.

All im going to remember is him backing down and being forced to sit in the cuck chair again.

I no longer understand what's happening. The two week ceasefire is subject to the Strait reopening. But the Strait has been open for everyone but the United States all this time. And it was open to the United States prior to these bombings. Then I try to look up why this war happened at all and the answer is "Iran was developing nukes" but Israel has been claiming that for the past 40 years with nothing actually happening.
There was an Axios article a while back that went over how Trump’s team went to speak with Iran and make new deals regarding nuclear energy infrastructure and lessening their weapons. Iran held out on conversing, being extremely shady and uncooperative, before slightly revealing they had been stashing up weapons again with intent to blow things up as usual. When presented with this information, it was decided that striking first and early would be less damaging then waiting for them to make a first move.

This is only one of the alleged reasons for the conflict starting, as there is a swarm of information shared around here and the Iran thread giving off reasons.

  • Regime change - The Ayatollah regime had become increasingly unstable and unpopular, setting up a new regime looking to take over that is more America friendly. Factors for the unpopularity include starving, desiccating, and out-right slaughtering their population.
  • Further diminishing of BRICS resources - Iran and previously Venezuela are both oil rich countries with ties to China & Russia. Trump is performing proxy wars to destabilize the bigger nations by conquering their suppliers.
  • Israel - Taking this in a non-groyer sense, Israel was already planning a raid on Iran. By giving Israel the proper backup, it furthers the destruction of the terrorist regime at a quicker pace, reaffirms an alliance with a key player in the area, and overall just lessens destruction while not needing us to get boots-on-the-ground involved. This is then bolstered as Trump is becoming an ally force with other massive players within the area, such as the rich Saudi’s, who all benefit from mutual destruction of Iran.
  • Realignment of Allies / WW3 prepping - It has been thrown out that Trump is testing the waters with these conflicts to test Europe’s convictions to standing on anything in a time of chaos. With them mainly ducking out of every needed intervention, including defending Greenland from obvious BRICS fuckery, I think Trump is using this as a sticking point to really push that we need to stop propping up useless allies.

I believe this is the main bulk of the reasoning discussed, but I am sure people who have been watching this with much more conviction than me can better add to this.

Keep in mind, agreeing to any of of the economic points is a win for Iran as they were sanctioned and didn't receive any fee prior to the conflict.

Are you retards seriously celebrating Trump chickening out yet again? Are you that desperate for a win?

MAGA will continue to claim this is a win for America.

Three of the items from Iran's 10-point plan which has accepted as a basis for negotiations.

- Iran will get one million dollars per ship in future for all ships exiting the persian gulf. to make it "fair", Oman will also get 1 million dollars per ship.
- There will be a ceasefire in Lebanon
- All sanctions on Iran will be lifted

The main thing to take away is that the eventual compromise is going to involve some level of removal of sanctions on Iran and some level of acceptance that the Straits exiting the persian gulf are not an international waterway with free right of navigation.

If sanctions are lifted and Iran's claims on the straits are agreed to, the war was a massive win for Iran. Well beyond anything they could have expected going on.

What do you think will be more flavorful?
the one that i will actually use, which is the one that's pre-mixed in a bottle that i purchase from the store because i'm lazy

Trump negotiated for a peaceful solution that benefits the US instead of starting WW3 over a bunch of brown religious zealots in a country thousands of miles away. now i won't get to experience even more global instability and get a dopamine rush from finally getting to eat bland beans and rice and canned meat for every meal so all of my prepping meant something. it's never been more joever...

I don't like the fee but there is a possible bright side to it. IF a new regime is made and Iran is more friendly to the US the fee could help build their wealth so they can defend better against China and Russia. I can't say for sure if that's the intention.

Point 10 says that they'll use the fees for reconstruction instead of reparations. And it doesn't say anywhere that the fee is permanent so it may go up or down as time passes.

That isn't a win in any way for America and all that results in is Iran being an issue again in the future. Wow Iran has to rebuild, oh wait they don't care about the civilian population and the civilian population are cowards. Also they totally won't use the fees for rearming.

Yeah, but
Ding-ding-ding, we've got a winner! We aren't pulling our SpecOps out of Iran yet. If there is a ceasefire it'll give the insurgent groups we've been training a chance to start shit. Or so I assume.

MES is doubtful
And negotiations haven't even started yet, and they could very well be over for still launching missiles.

Update yeah that's over😂 IMG_4274.jpeg

Trump threatens to wipe Iran off the very map if they don't play ball.

"HE'S INSANE, ORANGEMAN WILL KILL US ALL!"

Trump announces that a discussion on a ceasefire is being held on both sides.

"WHAT A COWARD, ORANGEMAN NEVER DOES ANYTHING! HE'S WEAK!"

Truly you can't please anyone.
