Industral lubricants are about to have to shift towards synthetics. GP 3 are about as good as you can get before going full synthetic(PAO base) for base oils in lubricants. Expect full synthetics in everything soon. I'm happy to talk about lubes(Industral, not the ones your mom uses).

Disagree with you, have a feeling that this is the big one and that the US will shift focus to INDOPACOM, partially withdrawing to concentrate resources. My logic in short:

If Iran is taken out, all major players are friendly with the US. The major powers will be GCC/Turkey/Israel and all have some form of relations and an interest in keeping things stable. GCC/Israel are aligned now and Turkey/Israel aren't friendly but are closer than people think. Trump knocked out Venezuela which was one of China's "gas stations" and presumably will knock out Iran which is the remaining "gas station" for China. Taiwan invasion is theorized to happen in 2027 and the rest of 2026/part of 2027 will be spent on rearming INDOPACOM. Why else would Trump be so comfortable moving major resources from INDOPACOM to CENTCOM unless he knows China will not take advantage?

US will never leave the Middle East, CENTCOM is too critical due to oil. That's why I used the terms partially withdrawing and shifting focus.
