One thing that caught my eye was that usually flight suits are olive green. For some reason the F-15 pilots downed in Kuwait had a khaki jacket of full khaki flight suit like the image presented. Other than that idk. It'd be a career ending burn if Jack Murphy tweeted wrongly about the rescue so I'm still on the fence about the story on both sides.

Pro: poster on this thread claims this was posted by official irgc. If true, it doesn't make sense to post a fake capture. Id like to see this image be traced. If you can't trace it back to official sources. Than it's likely fake.

This is a sign of shit going down.
I have heard three lines of speculation I'm going to rank what I think is likely:
1) Prevent Iran from combing photos for evidence of the WSO or crowd sourcing it to Jeets. I think this is most likely given timing. They might be looking for traces of him directly, or where the PJs were hunting.
2) Given the supposed text from the shah telling royalists to start activating, it might mean that ground based civil war might be on. Trump does not want Iran having 4K satellite imagery of rebel movements or massings.

I've seen several claims online that the photo is from the 2015 shootdown of a Russian Su-24 by the Turks over Syria.
However, comparing Captain Konstantin Murakhtin from that incident with the alleged Iranian capture photo, it doesn't appear to be the same guy.

Do we have any information on what the airman emergency communication device is like? I'm curious about what the disclosed contact with the WSO can entail, though I also understand that search & rescue techniques in enemy territory will largely be classified.

What a fucking clusterfuck btw, we have a journalist I personally trust just spewing "thank god we got him" without sources, a "photo" of the pilot from "sources" in captivity, and commenters saying they are still looking for him. I think I'll go to bed early to see how things pan out.
They have EXTREMELY HIGH fidelity emergency transponders. The Air Force and SOCOM knows almost exactly where he is. Getting to him safely would be the issue. It has been reported because similar devices have been used to locate hostages for rescue missions in Afghanistan.

Anyways, there are very strange artifacts in this image. Compare the high detail on the fabric to the AI-style smudge elsewhere.
There is also a strange man in the top left.
Finally, I cannot make sense of what he is wearing. This does not appear to resemble a US flight suit in any way.
I do not think so. I have never seen a jet pilot in a tan flight suit. It is unusual.
