In Kuwait, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Resources reported that parts of Jahra Governorate experienced a power outage.

▶️The disruption was attributed to a main transformer station going out of service due to an Iranian strike.

▶️Technical teams are currently working to restore electricity and return the system to normal as soon as possible.

While we got stealth fighters, I wonder if they ever envisioned toy helicopters strapped with c4 and remote controlled cruise missiles being the new battlefield hardware.

There was a Harlan story that was pretty much exactly this, little autonomous razorblades rolling around looking for humans to kill.

It did then deviate into human-looking robots killing humans but oh well.

Yup. When people ask "So what has the USA gotten out of helping Ukraine?" instead of a very weird and complex geopolitical argument to explain precisely why Russia is bad everyone can just go "They sent some of their battle-hardened interception experts to the Middle East to help us out with Iran".

The Ukrainian Military Industrial Complex isn't small beer either. People forget that the T-64 was primarily designed and built by the Kharkiv Design Beureau. Ukraine is full of soviet arms factories, engineering schools and trained personnel. None of who went away after the USSR came apart.

Part of the reason Russias war is taking forever is Ukraine was full of Soviet air defense assets and the troops who knew how to use them, along with a massive mothballed military industrial capacity. Once Europe and America turned on the money printer they brought all that capacity back online. Ukraine right now has an arms industry on par with Germany at this point.

Demonstration of their new weapons platforms in this war not only earns them brownie points, it will also serve as a commercial for their MIC when the war with Russia ends and the money printer turns off. They can pivot to selling their shit to the Arabs and other third world shit holes.
