Iran Crisis ∩ Trump Politics Mass Debates Thread

Ah yes. The "I have no argument against that so lets compartmentalize it into a vague category so I can dismiss it wholly" approach.

I feel like this argument can be made for any viewpoint in favor or against any country in the middle east. The entire region is a round robin of revenge. There's no clear answer here except whichever ethnicity, religion or state you feel is riotous.
My argument is more of a question: what reason did Iran have to "start a war" before Israel and the US started bombing them, and what means would they have to do so? Iran was actively renegotiating a nuclear deal with the US when the first strikes happened, granted I can't vouch for the negotiating capability of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Also to preempt the inevitable "Muslims are all deranged and want to kill each other", Saudi Arabia was starting to normalize relations with Iran by restarting Hajj flights despite the sectarian conflict.

Are you spastic? I'm not talking about 2 years ago in Gaza.

I'm referring to when Tasnim, the IRGC news agency, directly said “These explosive packages resemble ready-made canned food, are somewhat larger than tuna cans and contain explosives that detonate after being opened, causing casualties,”.

It wasn't even that long ago, did you miss it?
It was March 26 that was posted, when things were still moving along, so I'm going to be generous, ignore his history of retarded posts, and assume he did.

Shortly afterwards, take one guess what we found out they were using the TRR to create.
Promethium-147. That reactor is monitored by IAEA, guessing is unnecessary.

You are hallucinating. Are you an LLM?
edit:
Guys, America and our overlord Israel are now killing civilians with explosives that are made to look like tuna cans.

Here's something weird: I think the linked website, WANA news, is some kind of jewish psyop. It's not an Iranian news agency...

About a week before this war kicked off I posted in the Brit thread that something big was about to kick off because of my powers of noticing. Then this shit happened.

A couple of weeks ago I posted here (or the brit thread) that shit was about to be escalated because I noticed(tm) certain tells.

Monday, the day Trump has given the deadline for Iran to surrender, an escalation is going to occur. This may sound obvious, but I have just Noticed(tm) the same tells as the previous two predictions. If you're not American, go and fill your car up tomorrow, stock up on food and get a few rolls of bog-roll in.
This escalation won't be massive or horrible, but it will shock the market and the prices are going to go up on Monday and be very high by Friday.

Expect Diesel to top £2 per litre by the weekend and food prices to jump 10%-20% in the same time frame.

THIS IS JUST AN OBSERVATOIN AND I COULD BE WRONG. I just want to let fellow kiwis know in advance to be stocked up with food and fuel before the price kike...i mean, price hike.

Being a commodity, the spike in the barrel price is affecting everyone. My country is pretty much self sufficient on oil, but the increase in products and services already had a noticeable raise. Love me some trumpflation and having to spend more money because this retard is starting retard wars on the other side of the planet

I think you're right. What we're seeing now rhymes with the start of the conflict - the increasingly vocal threats, the proclamation that talks have broken down and are going nowhere. The 10 day "countdown" running out is an obvious trigger.

It's disappointing I'm now thread banned from the silly thread for "cluttering" it with none-news - though I appreciate my occasional criticism of the conduct of this war was an unusual distraction in a thread that is otherwise solely focussed on providing high quality reposts of telegram messages news from the warzone - as I would have liked to have explored the perspective of those who had tied their sense of self worth to the official four to six week timeline, and seen their evolving justification for its obvious extension.

I'm filling up my car this weekend.

Wow... you noticed that America was building up for a war with Iran, and you predicted that there'd be a war with Iran? I kneel.
There are 3 potential military rivals to the USA: china, russia, and iran in order of military power

We are currently destroying with the 3rd most powerful army on that list
>the third most powerful, of a list of three
What a strange and dishonest way to frame it.

They've done you a favour. I was banned in the early days of the thread for questionning (mods called it arguing). I was unbanned when a few other posters were, then banned again after one or two posts, I haven't gone back and I don't care to.

They will never admit they got it wrong. They will move goalposts or do the classic "Nobody believed X was going to happen. Nobody said that", even though they literally said X was going to happen.
It's the same that happened with the ukraine war.

Maduro was sold out by his party. There's little evidence that I've seen that some super, duper high speed spec op was pull off other than some dead Cuban guards that weren't given the memo. The fact that Rabbi Trump still believes that negotiating with some internal faction within the Iranian government will get him what he needs is further proof.
the belief that we pulled off some mega spec ops instead of just paying off the rest of the government and telling them 'Hey you can be in charge now" is very funny. Anything to prop up the troops

Summer was already very interesting for the Iranians with daily 2hr+ blackouts and water shortages.
Now, they claim that part of the reason for the power shortages is the fact that the IRGC runs massive shitcoin farms; so it'd be interesting to see how/if this affects the IRGC's economy as well, although they seem to be doing fine as they are extorting the ships that want to pass through the strait.
I will tl;dr:

Last summer was very interesting, this summer was already shaping up to be fascinating with the central bank failing and water supplies being even worse than before. IRGC runs massive cryptofarms near their Hydro stations, and also exports a lot of power to neighbors - while their cities have blackouts.
Its all about grift and the IRGC gives no fucks because they believe (and very well might be correct) that the population is so cucked and caged that they will never rise up to threaten them. So they might as well continue to bleed them dry in cartoonish ways.

Iran would have enough water for its population, but that would mean cutting water to argiculture and industry, and very likely needing to relocation population from the dryest areas. Minus the IRGC being so dysfunctional as to be unable to deliver water (non-zero percent chance) there won't be any true water riots, just farmers mad about their completely failed dustbowl farms.

The funniest part is Hamas and Hezbollah don't have a history of attacking the US, but you know who does? Al-Qaeda and ISIS, and it's affiliates. But ISIS and al-Qaeda are funded and financed by our Gulf State "Allies", so the media just mushes them all together under one "Middle East terrorist" label in the hopes that the average American will just assume Iran must be where those "crazy ISIS fuckers" come from, and so why wouldn't we just carpet bomb the place?
hey retard. Iran backs more than Hamas and Hezbollah. Do you think Iraqis are headed to Iran because they believe its a good vacation destination or something? No, its because they are funded and armed by Iran, and have been trying to kill US citizens and service members for nearly the past 25 years.
Also lets not forget the shit Iranian supported orgs get upto in Lebanon and Syria. While you say they "don't have a history of attacking the US, but history say otherwise and you are just being willfully retarded.

I would advise you to go into a VFW and say that shit, that Iran never attacked the US. Post the results.

That is a lot of "Man, the US should not mess with Iran. It really weakens the US when we assist them in engaging in Strategic Martyrdom." for someone who claims to give a fuck about the US.

Post hands.

Mossad is so deeply embedded that I can't even tell if they're lying at this point.
If they arrested 10 random people, simple probably says they got at least one Mossad asset.

Ukraine, of all places, throwing their hat in to back us up still surprises me.

Like don't get me wrong, it's a pleasant surprise and I appreciate the blue and golds stepping up, but I would've never guessed it in a million years.
As @Silence of the Troons points out, even if you ignore the attempts to suck up to America and gulf-state funding, its in their interests to fuck up Iran to stop the flow of weapons, ammo, and components from Iran to Russia, and it costs them very little to do so.

I saw reports that UAE, Qatar, and KSA have already been placing orders for Ukrainian anti-drone systems.

Point of order, Ukrainian (and Georgian) involvement with Iraq was different. In other cases, it was seen as rehearsal for NATO applications; being able to provably show they had deployed in support of, and integrated with, a NATO military would go a longway to having their application received positively.

In Georgia's case, the mission was in earnest. They sadly took too long to apply, got invaded by Russia in 2008, and now the government is pro-Russia so that project is dead.

In Ukraine's case, at the time the government was a Russia puppet but they wanted access to the EU economy and money (which they could grift) it would bring. Having an active NATO application, even if they never joined NATO, would help with the EU membership application.

If someone is an American in this thread, no matter if love or hate Trump, why would any want the US to lose this conflict? Losing would signal that we can no longer defend the waterways and might call the confidence of the Dollar into question. Losing a war like this is different from Afghanistan because losing that didn't ultimately threaten our commitments, this is a different kettle of fish.
They would happily see parts of the country burn so long as it meant being able to "pwn Trump"

The leftists are more than willing to destroy America to get their way. See: mass immigration, government shutdowns, trying to cause economic collapse by attacking consumer confidence, etc. It's practically their whole platform.
exactly this.

not trying to attack you for posting this but i really wonder where these ~OSINT~ twitter people supposedly get this info
do they just pull it out of their ass, 'trust me bro' style?
tl;dr: People with knowledge have seen some shit and like to share the burden. I know a good number of things that I am definitely not supposed to know from when I got sand on my boots, and the only thing learning these items cost me was asking "Hey man how's it going?" to people and listening while they talked.

But a lot of the sourcing, especially since they won't attribute to who told them, is "source: just trust me bro".

You can also infer things from other information. For example, even though the fuel hauler doesn't know anything himself, if he is making a trip every day instead of every week, that's a clear sign some shit is about to go down.

or extreme tl;dr: They're all waiters at the E-4 Mafia's social club.

With all due respect to Hatemonger, is attacking Iran going to stop TERRORISM in the Middle East, especially considering the attacks against US forces in the region were at an all-time low?
No but yes.
Nothing except the total elimination of all human life in the middle east, and anyone any who was born in those territories, will stop terrorism.

However, Iran is the #1 sponsor of mideast terror groups, providing them arms, money, and training. Removing Iran's ability to do this will greatly increase stability in the mideast.
Iranian is also the mideast's #1 illegal drug distributor via its proxies.

Sorry, I'm just not used to seeing a country act in their own self interest so readily. Perhaps Ukraine deserves some kind of reward for becoming so thankyou-pilled.

I really liked the tone on the first 2 or so days from MIGA when they thought this would play out just like it did in Venezuela

You'll see the last bits of smugness from them wiped away when boots on the ground happen, and some serious casualties begin, because there's no non bloody way to get soldiers in there. Let's just hope the orange retard will at least remember to take out his stupid cap when he bury the remains of the young men he'll send to die

I don't think you would fight in that, I think you'd flatten that, and then fight in it
Except that the moments after you press the shiny button to "flatten" China they'll hurl some nuclear ICBMs at you

America is just too used to fight barely functional small countries to conceive what would be like to start a war with someone of their size

Im still proud of this country despite everything, yet I cannot sympathize with the "My country right or wrong crowd"
Those men getting vaporized by a swarm of Shaheed"s will hopefully be the punch in the nose America needs to realize what"s the point of the Empire? Even normies are talking about the ZOG. Trump could end up being the greatest President since Nixon for unintentionally collapsing the whole rotten system

Draining the swamp by punching Shaheed sized holes in the bottom of it.
