I'm less concerned with "DA JOOS", and more concerned with Europoors (who vote for more bullshit) and Islamists. Iran was getting too big for their britches, and Trump needed to kick them in the dick. Remember kids, they declared war on US. We've just been side-eyeing each other ever since the late 70s. UAE just announced 1.4 trillion dollars in investments in the USA. Saudi Arabia did another trillion.

But we've spent nearly 30 billion dollars on blowing up Mullahs! We could have paid off people's student loans instead!!

The industrial facility I work at has completely flipped generationally. It used to be almost entirely old people. Now all the management and most of operations are Gen X or below.

In my experience, Boomers had a lot of institutional knowledge but were also often retarded. I miss them a lot less than I thought I would.

Orders also picked way up. It was bleak in December. Hopefully that remains true.

My work is unrelated to manufacturing but I've been scrapping by on jobs I'd arranged last year and wrapped up with the last of them this past week. Basically zero calls for new jobs. It almost feels like a flip switched in the last week or two because now I'm getting calls basically every day

Healthcare jobs are not innovative and a significant portion of those jobs are paid family caregivers. Healthcare jobs are not signs of a strong economy, they're signs of boomers dying. A majority of these jobs would not even exist without medicare and medicaid so in a roundabout way they're subsidized by the US govt because of the fucked up healthcare system the US has.

The bright points are manufacturing, construction and hospitality. These are likely fueled by companies being forced to hire American after their squatamalan labor fled south or got deported. Transportation was good too but Im not sure how sustainable that is with the Iran war and fuel prices.

Realistically I think the slim Republican majority in both house and senate will flip to a slim Democratic one. I think we're too polarized now for there to be a huge seismic shift one way or the other; even Trump's victory in November couldn't move the congressional needle very far rightward to begin with. I could be wrong and if we're in full on economic meltdown by October then it really will be a blue wave.

The save act is just one prong of many. Several states are already enacting similar legislation, and there's a lot more ground work being done in different states to weed out fraud. I wouldn't be surprised if ICE is keeping an eye out for places where illegals play a hand in the fraud.

We will likely have too anyway. The anemic jobs market isn't generating enough jobs in the financial, IT and other college educated positions. Companies are more interested in AI and hiring jeets in India than hiring Americans. As more people default on these loans it will only get lumped into the national debt. You can't extract blood from a rock when people can't get hired to pay off said loans.

Trump really needs to come down hard on these companies operating in America if they want to do business in the US. Its one of the few ways he can eek out a victory in the midterms.

House yes, Senate tossup. If Cornyn/Paxton drops the ball hard and that Senate seat flips then maybe, but even then the rest of the TX politicians poll better. If Iran clears up by the end of the month and forgotten by June then it could be something else.
