To be fair, the official narrative around Nordstream is that a bunch of Ukrainian ultranationalists took a yacht out to the middle of the ocean and just so happened to drop a bomb right on top of the pipeline. I wouldn't put it past our government to pull that kind of shit to cut Russia off from their European natural gas customers.
The Strait of Hormuz is a different story. We cut the head off the Iranian government and now their military's running around like a bunch of headless chickens launching missiles at God knows what because they're products of generational incest. I wish we'd either take the fucking thing or prop up some warlord around that area to lock it down for us.
