Anime is popular because it is genuinely good. It's still focused on promoting good values (generally) and hasn't been wholly subverted and turned into a vehicle for propaganda like Hollywood. Anime promotes art, music, beauty, overcoming challenges, etc. There's also a decent amount of turnover with newer IPs coming out all of the time. Meanwhile Hollywood gives us 8 seasons of Big Mouth which is aggressively jewish and gross. Hollywood is is dead spiritually and people know it instinctively.

Do you think trannies have actual good taste? They like the worst kinds of anime that are about raping lolis. They also cannot enjoy anything if the creator has any slightly "problematic opinion". I don't know about those kinds of animes.

But some things are generally magnetic and broadly appealing. Anime doesn't have the same deep rot that has been festering in Hollywood and that makes it attractive.

On the other hand, a lot of anime features masculine themes but presented in a feminine wrapper; female combatants are common. That definitely appeals to troons.

Aside from Asia's pandering to pedophiles (which attracts trannies for obvious reasons), I think one of the other reasons that trannies prefer foreign media (especially from East Asia) is because they have no idea what any of the creators of said media think politically. With Western media that's in English, they can have a parasocial relationship with the creators on social media and harass them to see if they have the "correct" political opinions. But they cannot as easily do so with foreign creators that don't speak English.

I'm not really an anime watcher, but I've heard "Attack on Titan" and "Frieren" are pretty chuddy. Western trannies would have no idea though because they are too autistic to comprehend metaphors, and they have no way to ask Japanese creators if they support Black Trans Lives Matter because those creators don't speak English.

Most trannies don't truly care about any political opinions other than those that directly impact them. They are insane and overwhelmingly autistic, so expecting them to understand that some creators that they love are actually 'problematic' is really expecting too much. They reserve the hate for people who are rationally and directly opposed to them and trigger their narc rage, like JK Rowling, some Japanese guy who would be disgusted by them but say nothing just doesn't push their buttons in the same way.

As an aside, if I never hear the word problematic again it will be too soon.

thats where the whole "throw them a bone" part comes into play, The gender transformation will be a side product of the furry transformation if such a thing ends up being possible.

However, its more likely that the furry transformation will only turn them into a catboy/catman because they would need more genetic material from their parents to create the needed replacement.
