And so what? Having a car requires one to have a job to make car payments and buy gas; follow traffic laws to not be ticketed to death, or have your license taken away. Blacks, browns, and every other fucking shade (including some white trash types) aren't problem if they're just regular people. The guy making car payments is less likely to be a criminal than the jackass using public transportation, that he likely isn't even paying for.
The way I see it, if you have half decent security and the strict fare enforcement that comes along with that, then the majority of the homeless people and criminals won't use public transit to do some crazy shit since you have some good deterrents. There's gonna be that like 10% that still does which is why you have the security. You won't eliminate crime entirely but you'd at least reduce it and boost ridership. For me, I'm content with that.
