Reform skyrocketed from being irrelevant in 2024 to topping the polls in the first half of 2025. Things can shift quick with enough momentum and dislike. Reform's main advantage is Farage & mainstream media attention. If Lowe gets appearances in mainstream media I think he'd catapult into first. His humour is different from Farage's but it's still that same no-nonsense approach people like, especially when it's used to shut down appeals to emotion or sophistry.

In France, CNews tv channel and newspapers like Valeurs Actuelles and Frontières have appeared as some of the country’s most popular media outlets, and they are a doing a great job to counter the pro-immigration bullshit we've been fed in the last 40 years.

We have tons of them. The first politician here to use Youtube was Jean-Marie Le Pen from the National Front. We have many Asmongold-like creators, such as Fdenews or Psyhodelik, but they are full-on far-right with calls for remigration. We have nationalists Catholic priests like Abbé Raffray. There's tons of people doing right-wing shows with a large variety of stances, from middle-class oriented liberal ones like TeddyboyRSA to fully racialist Daniel Conversano, from anti-EU like Cercle Aristote with Pierre-Yves Rougeyron to full pro-EU like Sunrise, it's vast and it's going strong here.

There's very little like it here. The UK government has engaged in absolute control of information distribution for decades, which allowed it to shape the social consensus however it - or more accurately, however the BBC - liked. Orwell wrote 1984 based on his experiences working for the BBC. It was only the rise of the internet that really allowed any sort of dissenting voices, but even then the social shaping has been so effective that most people instinctively reject anything that strays too far off-message out of a deep-seated fear of facing some sort of abstract punishment for hearing it.
That is absolutely the sort of snide and petty attitude I expect from the Greens and almost viscerally makes me want to do whatever I can to stop them winning. It's exactly the kind of juvenile spiteful attitude I associate with some Antifa types I knew.And, of course, the predictable reply guys...
