“Hot” celebs who are not that attractive

One word: Jelly. Men see heartthrobs on screen and seethe because they aren't getting the same attention from women irl. Then when these guys get older and more rugged and are no longer making teen romance bait on screen they start to identify with them.

I was thinking Timothee Chalamet too. He's 30 now. Twink death is unavoidable and he's gonna have to graduate to different roles eventually.

At least we'll always have River Phoenix.
Exactly. Pattinson and Gosling started out in fluff roles where they just had to look pretty to lure in young girls and bored housewives into theaters. Then when they got older, wanting to be taken seriously so they could get roles that required ACTING, they pivoted to more diverse films. These are usually roles where they are TOUGH GUYS doing HARDCORE ACTION, so now the men they used to crap on them are now like THAT'S SO ME FR FR!

Some people are saying she has an eating disorder because Ozzy died and she's having trouble coping. She got mad that people accused her of being addicted to Ozempic. I wouldn't be surprised if she's on it because she looks more like Sharon's sister than her daughter now. And Sharon really fucked her body up with that stuff. She can't keep weight on now.
They're like the Kardashians.

All the women in that family have messed up beauty standards and are obsessed with plastic surgery. There's even an episode of The Osbournes where Sharon was talking about how she wanted to get her face done. All the women got tons of plastic surgery.

The most normal looking family member ended up being Jack.

As for Courtney Cox, I remember she publicly went against plastic surgery and said she'd no longer use it.

Men dislike seeing the natural order inverted. If you're an adult male and you see some twinkish teen Leonardo with an attractive girl, your natural instinct is to pick him up by the scruff of the neck and chase him off. But when an actor grows up, fills out and is more mature, then he's just one of the boys.

Maybe. I never really felt any resentment to any male actor over having some teen girls fawn over him. I only feel vague horror when it's someone like Timothee Chalamet or Pedro Pascal because it seems so obviously a socially manipulated thing to get women fawning over weak and abusive men. It's the phenomenon and artificiality of it that is repugnant.

Both are grim. Pascal gives me that, ‘run, fast and far, this man is about to skin you’ vibe and chalamet looks like I could beat him arm wrestling. I’m awaiting the inevitable pascal scandal where it turns out he’s got some dead rent boy in his fridge, and chalamet keeps doing that ‘blue steel’ face that’s baffling. I do not get either of them. Neither of them are convincing as even being straight
There are plenty of male celebs I don’t personally find attractive, but I can see they are objectively attractive - Brad Pitt was one I never really found a looker but I can see he is attractive objectively.
This current crop of male actors shoved in front of the public though, I just don’t get it. The guy who is the new dracula, he looks like a frog.
Make unrealistic male standards in film great again. Where’s our current year Harrison ford?

Speaking of weak and abusive men who socially manipulate women:

Travis Barker. Read up on that whole mess of a marriage where he fucked over and constantly cheated on Shanna Moakler, while also trashing her on camera on their MTV show while they portrayed her as some lazy mom when she had PPD and was taking care of a baby. While having two babies back to back.

He also love bombs women just as he did to Khloe, and Shanna, plus the fact that he cheated on every woman he was married to, including him cheating on his first wife at his bachelor party where 40 women gave him blowjobs.

For some reason he was portrayed as the better person even though he publicly threatened to kill Shanna by "putting a bullet in her head."

They are the same person and no one can convince me otherwise

I get comments about my avatar not infrequently. The actress is Georgia Moon from from the old 70's British Sci-Fi show "UFO". The thing is that it wasn't just slightly sexy outfits for the women, the men too were supposed to be attractive, but in a masculine way. Smoke cigarettes and have a good right-hook sort of men.

It was that sort of era - a male hero could be good looking and probably was, but the way in which he was meant to be attractive was a great deal about his character and his capability. Modern Hollywood casting attempts to define male attractiveness in the same way as it does female attractiveness. Which is why you get lots of skinny little twink-ish boys as leading men. I suspect a lot of homosexual and deep feminist types in the industry. The latter sublimating heterosexual attraction away from strong men they feel threatened by. And ironically then settling on weak men more likely to harm them and even compensating and creating "murder-twink" characters because on some level they still want men to be dangerous.

There are different, but related issues with female role casting in which they seem to want women who look different in some way which they try to sell as very attractive. Anya Taylor Joy for example.

She'd be good in an ambush situation due to the wide-angle vision. But I want my children to be predator animals, not prey.

I’m afraid that while the chaps are all nice and rugged, the string vest just makes me think of Rab. C nesbitt and then i start laughing.
But yes, you’re right. The sort of strong male thing is out, and the abusive vampire space twink stuff is in. I guess all those vampire/werewolf/billionaire businessman chick porn books are the same.
No more Clint Eastwood. Only men who look like frogs.
Anna Taylor joy has had that buccal fat removal thing done as well, and that never looks good.

Nicholas Hoult is one of my personal pet peeves, he's been cast in so much shit lately. He looks like a faggy British alien but somehow keeps landing these leading man roles. I laughed hard as hell when I saw the first pictures of him as Lex Luthor, it's such an absurd casting choice I thought it was for an SNL skit at first or something.
Hoult looks like a discount bin Ian Somerhalder
Not that I like Ian. I am currently watching "Lost" and casting him as Boone was a bold choice

Anya Taylor Joy is very striking to me. Which is not the same as attractive, its interesting. I realize it’s largely her makeup, but I think her wide eyes make her look exotic. Her whole face is still symmetrical, with a good jawline/face shape, so I feel her eyes work for her. She’s also a good actress, which helps to forget her eyes because your focus is elsewhere. I don’t think she’s going to age particularly well, though. And I hate the trend of women opening their mouth in photos. It makes them look like a whore.

But take Bella Ramsey. Also has wide set eyes, but just looks ridiculous and unfortunate. I just can’t take her seriously, she’s also not going to age well. Her face looks too babyish.

I was perhaps too mean to be mean to Anya Taylor Joy. I've never actually seen her in anything. And there are a lot of celebrities that I don't consider attractive. I see this thread more for focusing on the ones that are widely thought to be attractive that we ourselves do not and I think she is often thought attractive and I'm happy others do. I'm more just unfairly picking on her for a phenomenon in the modelling and related worlds, in which people with outlier faces are raised up as the epitome of attractiveness when honestly you see prettier women walking through a city centre much of the time. The industry seems to want people who look different more than they do attractive.

She is very neotenous. And looking at her I feel fairly sure she has some kind of mild developmental disorder.

Or literal bulls. Not the cuckolding term, the farm animal.
(mobilefagging so text editing isn't available, imagine ShoeOnHead's video on "Morning Glory Milking Farm" here)

I saw a review of it by a Kiwi, they're minotaurs (zoomorphic humans), so OK to fuck.

That one culturally important Canadian bear book has an actual bear.

Why do you make up this gay fanfiction? They aren't feminists, they're rich geriatric women who want to feel young and hot, and a way to feel young and hot is to have a boy toy. This isn't even new:

Before the buccal fat removal Anya was very waifish and fairy-looking, even when people were comparing her to Sid from Ice Age. Halle Bailey, the black woman who played in the Little Mermaid live action movie, also has this issue where her eyes are a little too far apart. It isn't that noticeable if they wear certain clothing or jewelry to harmonize the face.

Expanding on what I said about the change in career trajectories for Pattinson and Gosling, the UR-example for this is Jodie Foster and Leo DiCaprio.

Jodie started out as the cute tomboy is several Disney productions, until she grabbed her career by the pussy and took the role of a teen prostitute in Taxi Driver. Then after that led to some sicko who I will not name (because he gets off on the attention) trying to assassinate Reagan to get her to notice him, she wisely stepped back for a few years to attend school in France before she jumped back into acting with critical darlings like The Accused and Five Corners. That time away from the spotlight was a like a reset button, allowing her to grow from a tomboy to a woman, and let people stop associating her with that shooter mess.

Leo started out in LEGO commercials before his big break was being the "Cousin Oliver" in the last season of Growing Pains in an attempt to boost flagging ratings (it did not work because his season ended up the final one). He was given the choice between what seemed like a sure box office hit with Hocus Pocus, or "A Boy's Life", a low budget indie with Robert DeNiro. He chose wisely, and not only did that role lead to him befriending and learning the craft from DeNiro, it got him his role in "Gilbert Grape" that got him an Oscar nod at just 19. (In some alternate universe, Omri Katz is snorting cocaine off the asses of 21 year old models on a yacht in Bermuda, while Leo prays for another Growing Pains reunion movie to happen so his trailer doesn't get impounded)

He smartly divided his roles between teen girl bait like Romeo & Juliet and Titanic with more serious indie fare like a gay poet in Total Eclipse and half-gay druggie poet Jim Carroll in the Basketball Diaries. So when Twink Death hit around the time of Django Unchained, Leo had already set himself up as a SERIOUS AC-TOR and didn't have to resort to appearances in Z-list movies such as SHARKNADO or trying to starve himself or eat bull testicles on some reality show full of has-beens and never-weres like many other former teen heartthrobs do when they hit the wall.

Considering he's dating a Kardashian I can't take him seriously.
That's another huge mistake that TIMMAH! is making. Every man that stuck his dick in a Cardassian has been cursed. Notice how Kanye's career fall off began after he hooked up with Kim, and now he's resorted to making songs about him sucking his cousin's dick for years and publicly declaring that Hitler did nothing wrong with a straight face on national TV.

Within the next five years he is going to end up like the next Shia LeBeef, and begging studios to bankroll a movie where he plays a gay Michael Jackson impersonator who is recruited by aliens to assassinate Martha Stewart by riding a giant missile shaped like a massive cock made up of cocks he harvested by biting them off dudes he picked up for sex.

"I am a serious actor."

Bitch, you're dating a Kardashian. You're not going to be respected.
