"I'm a good person! Courtney is the evil one! That's why she deserves to die!"
Lily would do the same thing he always does, claim he was actually the victim and get his small group of supporters to surround him and eventually turn to sending him asks along the lines of "did you know your old stalker Mikay was doing XYZ" or "are you planning to review the next DMC game or is it too traumatic because it reminds you of your ex". What I'm interested in seeing is how Lily somehow accuses Mikay of being transphobic.
Lily's audience has absolutely shrunk, but all it takes is one overly dedicated viewer/patreon supporter with delusions Lily is the elven trans queen of their dream for them to get shipped in as a replacement

Listen: in an ideal relationship, one person is Lev/Avatar sister and the other person is Kestri/Avatar Niva. Lily says she's Lev to the internet, but she demands to be Kestri/Niva IRL to her spouse. You give up YOUR life for HERS, not the other way around. She was abused forever, for Peet's sake! It's what she is owed from the universe! It's dead for this couple. Mikay has to be the one doing everything for this asshole while Peet can't be bothered to do anything for her.

And the rest of the answer dodges the question. Lily, you moron. Why do you write relationships where one person is adoring the other while the other just gets to benefit from it?
I feel affection for people very strongly, and the friendships I cherish are the ones with people who let me express that affection. I'm not asking for that affection to be returned, only welcomed
Below is Lily's ENDLESS AFFECTION AND DEVOTION TO MIKAY:Different anon but I think that person ment to say why doesn't the other person show that much devotion
Because the affection being welcomed is what I wanted to write.
Lily prefers it because either she gets to make a villain her villain, as in "this abuser represents my abuser!" or gets to say it doesn't properly do it.I prefer it because ghosts are never as terrifying as the depths of human cruelty.
No elaboration, no consideration. It doesn't have romance or a way to make someone to be the villain aside from the protagonist's own actions coming back to haunt them, so Lily runs from it. Fuck responsibility!Anonymous asked

Babadook or Beloved)
Nope
Yeah you dumb shit, reality doesn't play out where you can make a fucking wife out of candy either or fuck elves but you analyze that shit to death you fucking imbecile. God!
Funny how most of the people who benefit from those relationships are OCs you closely identity with.

I had one friend vent to me about stuff going on in their personal life, and then proceed to apologize for taking up my mental space and nothing made me feel more like a stranger to them than that. And it's hard to communicate to someone "I know you're trying to be courteous, but it actually really hurts me when you act like your presence is a bother because your presence brings me so much joy."
It's hard to explain to people how I feel because it often gets misinterpreted as romantic interest.
Indeed I mistook it for this for a long time.
Anyway, I prefer to write relationships where that affection and devotion is welcome.
Translation: I want people to worship me without giving anything back in return.
Remember, she has a psychology degree.

Why is it that people in fandom spaces are so adverse to literally any kind of change? Be it adaptation or something as simple as a character's eyes changing color or an outfit swap, fandom will lose their damn minds if anything changes at all.
Mental illness.

That, uh... that answer seems a bit ableist, I'm not gonna lie.
Do you think mental illness comes with absolutely no negative qualities whatsoever? Or are you just upset that they're being identified? Sounds like something to talk to your therapist about.

I think what anon meant by the "that's ableist" bit is that you answered with only mental illness, without an explanation of why mental illness is more prone to making people entitled to nothing ever changing. Because, yeah, answering just "mental illness" to a perfectly legitimate question can come off that way. Maybe if you'd added in why mental illnesses make people more prone to being change resistant, then it wouldn't have seemed ableist, just explanatory.
I have explained it hundreds of times.
As opposed to your current videos which are getting tons of views.

Do you prefer psychological horror because that's what your degree is in?
I'd actually be really interesting in seeing your perspective on certain games and movies with elements of psychological horror.
I prefer it because ghosts are never as terrifying as the depths of human cruelty.
This is why people say you have poor media literacy, Lily. How are you this awful at your job?
It's not like this could set a precedent for future indie films, right? Seriously, how do you suck this much at your job?

And all of this because Peet can't accept in their head that Courtney will never be theirs. This is not a healthy dynamic. Lev exists only to serve Kestri-- he is not allowed to have his own pursuits, his own hobbies, his own thoughts, and Kestri in turn doesn't care that this is the case. It's been mentioned before, but their original characters cards were super telling; both Lev and Julie have 'Kestri' among their favorite things, but Kestri doesn't acknowledge either of them.
That's not love. This is codependcy. This is enmeshment. Kestri is an entitled narcissist and Lev is in an abusive cycle with her.
So...your friend shares details about their personal problems, and then you completely ignore everything they're feeling to make it all about yourself because they dared to apologize to you? That's, uhh...maybe not the example of "I'm such a devoted and caring friend" you want it to be, Lily.I had one friend vent to me about stuff going on in their personal life, and then proceed to apologize for taking up my mental space and nothing made me feel more like a stranger to them than that. Remember the last series of posts where Lily was talking about how themes were the most important thing in the world to storytelling and how he's bored with all these classics because they aren't about anything?going off the psychological horror ask

Nope
Or human illiterate. The wild thing is I honestly can't tell if Lily is just answering all these questions in bad faith or if he's legitimately so media illiterate that he doesn't understand the questions
And that's why the number of friends Lily has can be counted on one hand. What a fucking narcissist.
"I had a friend vent to me and then apologize for being a bother.
Do you know how HARD that was on ME to tell them they weren't bothering me?! God.
Anyway yeah I love givng out affection."
Will she actually feel bad if Courtney dies? And all of this because Peet can't accept in their head that Courtney will never be theirs.
Did Lily even do anything to help the friend through their problems other than listening?So...your friend shares details about their personal problems, and then you completely ignore everything they're feeling to make it all about yourself because they dared to apologize to you? Because Kestri existing is the greatest gift anyone has ever gotten, obviously.Okay...and? Why can't Lev be the one welcoming the affection?
Makes sense she doesn't believe in the afterlife. That would imply she believed in facing consequences for her actions.Remember the last series of posts where Lily was talking about how themes were the most important thing in the world to storytelling and how he's bored with all these classics because they aren't about anything?
Nope
When has she said she identifies with Lev?I think Lily wants to be Kestri but has to pretend to be Lev to make herself look better.
That's also why she also reacts so negatively when faced with criticism.Even then, Lily is shown to be ungrateful to others who are not enacting Lily's exact whims or are trying to engage with Lily - you don't get that privilege. That's Lily's job. Now go back to playing pretend how Lily wants you to.
That would imply he ever cared for the real Courtney to begin with. And he didn't. In Peet's mind every woman who did him wrong deserves to be punished. Will she actually feel bad if Courtney dies?

Hello! Have you heard of the game
"Scarlet Hollow"? It's by the same creators as "Slay the Princess". Still a visual novel, but less "metaphysical horror" and more "southern gothic horror". Latest entry just got released (well, first half, at least; second comes out this Friday).
I'm going to be completely honest with you, I find any form of "paranormal horror" to be really dull.
Cosmic horror, body horror, that stuff is all really boring.
I prefer psychological horror.

While I'm thinking about her psych degree, I know we don't need any further proof that she doesn't have one, but come on. You cannot tell me that a psych major would not only just say 'mental illness' to this kind of human-behavior prompt, but that modern psych classes wouldn't have dedicated class discussions to the behavioral psychology behind this trend in social media.Mental illness

That would imply he ever cared for the real Courtney to begin with. And he didn't. In Peet's mind every woman who did him wrong deserves to be punished.
I can see Jerry gleeing and making lap dances on Courtney's grave before proceeding to make up even more bullshit about her. Since "le abuser" won't be there to disprove any of his lies, he can just write as many open fanfics about her as he'd like.

I'm curious, I've read in some places that consensual incest doesn't exist and that it's always abusive. But you don't seem to believe this? Why is that?
It's worth mentioning that when people make this claim, they are 9 times out of 10 speaking strictly about parents abusing their children. Every other form is summarily ignored, which I feel is reductive but explains the attitude at play.
That having been said: Incest is always unhealthy. That is not the same thing as abusive. Framing it entirely in a Victim-Abuser dynamic is actually deeply unhelpful, because when you do that you take your biases with you. And because we live in a patriarchal, misogynistic society, that framework is superimposed onto any narrative of abuse.
It also just discounts the reality that the most common form of incest is teenagers messing around and doing something stupid, something that I don't feel warrants anyone getting tarred as an abuser for. Nor should people trying (badly) to cope with a dysfunctional environment.
These things happen. We don't like to talk about them, but they happen. And they aren't as cut and dry, they aren't as mentally safe, as the Victim-Abuser dynamic. When one person is clearly in the wrong, that's easy. That's safe. When nobody is, or everyone is, that's hard and brushes up against a lot of very uncomfortable things people don't like to think about.
She hated When Marnie was Here.So far Marnie is the worst of these movies
No I haven't watched Ocean Waves, Earthsea or Earwig yet.
I don't think there is anything that could say that would stop the flaming this idiot is going to get once they get to Spirited Away. Honestly, even if they are going to be a contrarian to be a assholeShe hated When Marnie was Here.
Bets are on, will she be a contrarian about Earwig? The objectionably worst ghibli film to date?
