"Repper" here. They have to stop identifying with this crap. Yeah you might struggle with what's clinically considered "gender dsyphoria" and yeah you might be one of the few types of tranny-esc people who actually doesn't fit the typical mold when it comes to people of your gender, but that doesn't matter. None of this matters. All of this is an obsession with labels to mask underlying addictions and trauma.
If you get over most of the vices that rule you and stop picking at the wound by browsing sites that will trigger your obsessive thought patterns, you will feel better. Always.
Trying out stuff you wouldn't ordinary try is good. It's great, actually, because it forces you to confront your sense of self and pushes you out of your comfort zone. Even if you find out you don't like it, it doesn't make a difference. These people obsess over all their actions and thoughts and see all of it as an extension of themself. You have to stop identifying with your own thoughts. It isn't that serious. Everything that is external is an illusion built on collective assumptions by people who secretly share the same universal worries you do.
Nobody cares about you. It's harsh but it's true. Nobody cares! The only reason you feel like you are wrong is because you were made to feel like you were wrong, and the only reason you were made to feel wrong is because those people felt wrong personally so they subconsciously and consciously try to find the same faults in others that they see within themselves.
That and again, addiction. GD is just an excuse to fixate on something that can never be truly solved in order to avoid confronting ones own emotions. They will conflate addict behavior being related to their gender even when it isn't.
Not to mention some people just wanna wallow in their own self pity and self victimization. As long as these people keep posting on repper threads or whatever, they will never get better. The solution isn't to merely "go outside" or even to get therapy, it's one of those situations where geniune social isolation is beneficial. Sitting with your own thoughts, feeling your emotions without identifying with them, away from environments that enable your vices. A lot of people never get better because they think socializing is the way to go first and foremost, only to end up with enablers who reaffirm their bad choices and make it harder to stay grounded. I'm not saying these people shouldn't go outside, but it's less about being outside than it is getting away from places that make your vices easily accessible, so depending on the addiction, not going outside much can be more beneficial than constantly planning outings.
Interesting perspective, I agree in some parts and disagree in some.
First, I think what should be established is that "repper" is an internet nickname, one that most of these people use in the same way you did. Only identifying with it to easily and quickly explain their situation, I think the use of the threads is less so from identifying as "A repper, I AM a repper" and more so cause they found a place on the internet where they can vent about their shit life. I agree that it can be unhealthy though, but I disagree on how. I feel like it could be unhealthy insofar as you're frequenting a place that almost seems like proof that your life is over due to this ailment, it's not good for hope.
I do kind of get what you're getting at, but I feel like there's holes in it. Assume anything I don't reply to, I either agree with or am neutral.

Although I agree it shouldn't matter, "dosen't matter" is a little bit of a cope imo. It matters to about 87% of society and it always has throughout the ages, many people consider just the mere idea of a feminine man mental illness. I remember conservative youtuber, Brett Cooper, insisting a similar thing as you. Don't transition, just be as unconventional as you want! Then one day she reviewed a video of a cisgender couple where the guy was feminine and the girl was masculine, and spent 15 minutes mocking them for it. Even her own comment section was confused, "Brett... I thought you said you should do this as opposed to transitioning?".
There's a joke I tell myself, the left's approach to mental illness is by blaming everything on everyone else until you go mad. The right's approach to mental illness is by blaming everything on you until you go mad. If you have gd, it's because of an obsession YOU have to mask YOUR addiction, this is all YOUR fault actually. Can't say I agree, and I feel like this is also where the cope comes in again, you didn't make up that fixation on labels. It was instilled in you by other people, just other people who happened to fall under the "right" labels.

Well, of course. That will help, it won't fix you however. Kinda like how a brisk walk will help. You're not really getting to the meat and potatoes of why you feel this way.

To be fair, some of your actions and thoughts are indeed an extension of yourself. If I think "Damn I wanna lick a woman's coochie" then I am gay. I can't say "Well, I don't identify with my thoughts and they aren't an extension of me--" no, that's just gay. I agree that some thoughts are
passing or
intrusive ergo don't actually apply to you, but if you're repeatedly thinking "Damn I wish I was a woman, I feel like crying cause I'm not a woman" maybe something is actually wrong with you.

Hard disagree, I've always staunchly disagreed with this idea that some people purposefully ruin their lives just for the heck of it. It's too retarded and imo is a cope people use to avoid the reality that the society they built has irreversibly fucked someone over.
The way I see it, these people often have grown up in a society that says men act like men and women act like women, at least their weird definition of those two. So when you're a man who acts like a woman, that's BAD. So, you conclude, maybe I'm just not a man then? It's trauma from an unfair system, sure you can "get over your addiction" and stop conflating your behavior with that of women. But you still live in said society that told you to do that in the first place.
I'll also say, if you yourself are a repper, this is pretty negative self talk imo. Don't beat yourself up so much, yah knoe?
