Best TV show to ever air?

Mayday/Air Disasters is another perfect show. Great cure for fear of flying. You will be too busy telling everybody you figured out why the plane is crashing to be scared when the plane is crashing.

My personal top 10 list in no particular order:
Friends
Lost
Breaking bad and better call Saul
90s Simpsons
mXc
Morel Orel
The venture brothers
The prisoner
Oz
Sopranos
I'm sure that I'm leaving out some really good shows but those are 10 that I can think of right off the top of my head.

but that's 11 shows :smug:

The Twilight Zone
I fucking KNEW I'd forget an important one.
The Prisoner (original).
I see you're a man of culture as well.
Having to add "(original)" ruined my day.
They did a remake? Gross.
I was going to put American Dad on my list but season 6 and 7 it kind of fell off. A lot of the episodes were boring and they had Kim Kardashian on for no reason, it got kind of stale for a bit before it bounced back.
but that's 11 shows :smug:
Not really, better call Saul is just breaking bad DLC.

mst3k. too bad they only made 10 seasons. rifftrax is pretty good too, but not really a tv show.

Cartoons:

The Critic
90s Simpsons
Duckman
Baby Blues
Mission Hill
The Oblongs
Daria
Clone High (before the reboot)
Home Movies
Moral Orel
Season 3 of Moral Orel was one of the most beautiful and depressing things I've ever seen. Season 1 and 2 were good, but 3 is what made it legendary.

Taboo, the Tom Hardy show set in the early 1800s in London. They've been promising another season forever, but I don't think it'll get made.

It mostly takes place in the sleaziest part of London and it's one of the only historical dramas I've seen that is filthy enough. It's the opposite of the fancy Masterpiece Theater depiction of 19th century London. They even put horse shit in the streets (missing in most movies despite tons of horses).

There's a plot line about the main character making a fortune selling slaves in Africa, but they don't woke it up. The character isn't depicted as evil so much as troubled on multiple levels.

And I said this because nobody else said it, and it's a hella good show.

I'm on the fourth rewatch, and it's so good.

Every season manages to weave together multiple plots in a way that just... works. And all of the characters except Maddy, you just want to follow them around and see what they're up to.

I've never seen another cop show that hit like this.

Fun fact: Michael Connelly used to be the crime reporter for the LA Times and when he quit he was worried that he would lose all his contacts but apparently when he quit his cop friends were like "Okay, here's what REALLY went down."

It's literally about muh poor slaves, it's woke as shit. And not once is the grand plan cooked up by the protagonist ever challenged by an adversary in any meaningful way.
