Being a Democrat for the 2028 presidential election looks grim. These are apparently their top candidates:

• Gavin Newsom- disliked widely in California, and is still seen as “too moderate” by the most rabid progressives
• Kamala Harris- she’s being considered again, but is a complete charisma vacuum and cracks easily under pressure
• AOC- isn’t as rabidly progressive as she once was, but has a persona that only appeals to the bluest of blue cities
• Josh Shapiro- will definitely alienate the “free Palestine” faction of the left, and couldn’t bring themselves to vote for a Jew

I know there’s probably a few more, but these choices look awful. I’d be dooming too if I were a Democrat if these were my options

● Hilary Clinton- Schizopost from me but I could see her try to run again. But I doubt it since the recent Epstien drama will have her casted aside. But she will most likely have a strong start from her incredibly loud supporters.
●Mark Kelly- A recent victim of Trump's alogging, he will most likely run out of spite. But since he is an old white guy he likely won't get far.
●Andrew Cuomo- Sexual harasser and granny killer. Lost NYC mayoral race to a Jeet. Too old school politically to get far.
●Beto (Robert) O'Rourke- Biggest loser of the democrats losing 3 races for different positions. Only shows up when a national tragedy happens.
●Pete Buttigeig (can't spell his name lol)-HE'S GAY!!!

It will be a bloodbath. That is for sure.

My money is on Kamala subtly mobilizing non-White and White leftists to push for a second shot in the primary and dragging it out against whoever will actually win, causing bitterness and demoralization in time for the general.

Edit: there’s been rumors of tension with the military leadership for a while. And they do need to explain it to the public because that’s not something done quietly. It may be true, it may not be. We’ll never know.

1990 Trump was friendly for a rich guy. Lightly dismissive but you could tell was remembering you, just in case you're somebody someday. Doesn't seem much different now. I wouldn't be shocked if he still knew my name if I met him tomorrow (but I wouldn't expect it either).

Nixon quit slightly before I was born. He's the only president since "founding father" days I can imagine having a good time hanging out with.
