🍗 Deathfat Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

Ashley’s weird baby teeth freak me the fuck out. Did anyone ever figure out whats wrong with her teeth?
Localized microdontia. Her slightly bigger than average central incisors combined with significantly smaller than average lateral incisors look kinda disturbing in contrast, but it's fine otherwise. They look symmetric to me, so most likely just unlucky genetics.
Not a dentist though.

Anyone remember that weight loss app called "Noom?" The commercials usually involved a (small) fat having some sort of realization at how they've been conditioned to eat more and be fat because of the app.

The one that infuriated me the most is the one that implied parents making childten finish their plates is why people are obese; they've been "conditioned" to eat all food despite being full.

If this bullshit were even remotely true there'd be even more fat people than there already is. Parents make kids finish the entire plate or 95% of it do that to reduce waste and ensure growing children are getting enough nutrients (and won't be wanting to snack later).

The real reason fat fucks always finish their (multiple) plates is because they're fat fucks with food addictions. They're just like drug addicts in that they will blame literally anything for their problem onstead of taking even just one ounce of accountability.

I was about to disagree with you until I remembered that fat fucks also like to claim to be fat (sorry, "in recovery for a restrictive eating disorder") because they had parents who ever did anything to stop them from vacuuming up grossly excessive amounts of food, didn't keep much junk food in the house (remember "ingredient households"?), ever made any passing comment about obviously unhealthy eating habits or excessive weight gain whatsoever, or God forbid, subjected them to aboose by trying to put them on a diet of some kind. So on second thought, you're probably right.

Obese people don't have a grasp of appropriate serving sizes and do over serve children, but it is something an adult can relearn and overcome.

I wonder if pediatricians ever advise the parents of obese children to use a food scale and read the nutrition labels of packaged food? So many people can't eyeball serving sizes and advice like "palm size" doesn't help them very much.

Using food scales is easy and convenient, especially using a tare feature. You can place a bowl or plate on a scale and re-tare every time you add a new ingredient or serving. I never bake without a food scale to simplify measuring.

I just double checked about a simple guide recommend by different groups is the child's closed fist. It's a nice easy system for young children and stupid adults.

Eg;
Grains and starchy vegetables (potatoes, peas and corn)– offer your child’s clenched fist size (may be 1/2-1 cup)

Protein – aim for the size of your child’s palm or thumb size of nut butter

Fruits and vegetables – offer 2 of your child’s clenched fists full

Dairy – aim for 8 fl oz of low-fat milk, yogurt or about two ounces of cheese (3-4 times a day

Some PL bullshit:
My husband's kids live a few hours away with their mom full time. We see them mostly in summer, and we're always trying to help them learn and grow into being healthy functional adults, but their permissive, ignorant mom and her family immediately undo all the work we put in. So ofc the kids are spoiled, have basically no skills, and keep getting fatter. :(

Their mom will take them for regular check ups at their pediatrician, and all they get are those printout summaries at the end of the visit, which usually recommends the bare minimum to avoid offense or misaligned advice. One of the kids was showing the pre-fatty liver disease symptoms as a side effect of obesity, and all that was recommended on the sheet was to eat a lower fat diet. No specifics, no examples or options for foods or diet plans, no referrals to dieticians or nutritionist. Thankfully we're not learned helpless like their mother and it was easy to put together a healthy diet and exercise plan for them, but we could only enforce it when we had them in the summer. Their mom immediately undid all their hard work once they got home. We got them to lose weight and reverse all their negative health signs, just for them to come back the next year with everything we fixed and more. It blows.

And ofc the kids think we're evil and we hate them 'because they're fat'. God forbid we try to help them lead a happy, high quality life that they can control. We would teach them about calorie counting, macro and micro nutrients, accessible and easy daily activities, etc. but as soon as they weren't expected to participate, it all fell away.

That is a recommendation but it can lead to cases of disordered eating.

It's better that you learn what proper portion sizes are and just go from there,

This is what happens when they go back to a stupid person who basically looks at any kind of responsibility as being "evil".

I mean I'm all for kids being kids and letting them have some snacks and goodies that aren't good for them. But not to the point where they feel deprived because you didn't take them to McDonald's one week.

@burntgrilledcheese

Sorry, can't quote but just because they hate it now doesn't mean they won't remember the lessons when they are older. With some real freedom that comes with growing up and getting out, they can use what you taught them if they decide to really take control of their lives. You are laying the groundwork.
That's all we hope for now. ❤️

And just like @Falcon Sebben said, we weren't running a fat kid concentration camp, we'd have a pizza night and get popcorn if we went to the movies or whatever, we just tried to show them that real life requires a healthy balance, when they're so accustomed to getting Starbucks everyday on their way to school, on top of eating out most nights of the week, you know? It's an excessive lifestyle but I get the impression it's the way most people live around here, it's nuts to me.

You’d be surprised what house cleaners put up with. I used to clean houses years ago and I once had a client who was drunk out of her mind with her husband and they were arguing about whether or not the wife should wash her feet in the shower. They roped me in.

I’ve also witnessed a morbidly obese influencer whose penthouse was soaked in dog urine and feces, doing a “get ready with me” while I was was in the room next door dragging hazardous material to the dumpster. She was just going to buy all new furniture, and not address the actual issue.
It was in Austin but I don’t remember the name of the woman.
Haha she was blond but I don’t remember either of their names definitively. The dog was small, that’s all I remember. And she had a balcony with a grass patch pee pad that the dog never used. She lived at 422 At the Lake off of S 1st. If you all are thinking Anna I think she lived closer to North Austin during that time?

Sounds like Glitter and Lazers, who has a thread here. Blonde, lives in Austin, and has a small dog. Gives the distinct vibe of being a total slob off-camera.
Further down in the thread she said it wasn't Anna owing to her not living in that region of Austin at the time. The dog was also a small one, so not Data.

But still a shoe-in for our dumpy nitwit. Who knew that there's more than one in the area lol

The mention of a husband, and of a small dog, automatically disqualifies Anna O'Brien. But a lot of deathfat influencer types have come and gone; there was a truly crazy number of them around 8-10 years ago, and most of them have gone quiet. As many deathfats as we've discussed in this thread, we've really only covered the loudest and most obnoxious, and even then, I'm sure we missed a lot of them.

The only married, Austin-linked deathfat influencer that comes to my mind is Fat Lip podcaster and SSBBW fatty porn model Ash Nichuk, though she's brunette, not blonde. It's possible she went through a blonde phase at some point; I don't follow her closely enough to know.

The PSPH gorls are officially back in Florida! Or, at least, Steph and Ashley are after road-tripping it for several days, and Steph wasted no time buying ugly overpriced garbage!

The gorls also ponder over some gaudy-looking tumblers, with Steph saying that one reminds her of Deanna because she "loves little trash cans" (huh?), one reminds her of Sarah because she loves purple (lol autistic), etc. etc. and meanwhile Ashley debates whether to get one for their upcoming cruise on the Disney Wish next month. Decisions, decisions!

Their first stop seems to be Port Orleans French Quarter for some Mickey-shaped beignets!

They also stop to take a photo with a fellow Disney adult deathfat.

The next day, Steph and Ashley are joined for a healthy lunch of greasy fried food by Steph's uncle Scott and....introducing...Nana!!

She already looks annoyed as fuck so I already love her. Each of them ordered some horrifically high calorie sandwich with fries...except for our gorl Ashley, who decided to be healthy with a chopped salad! Just kidding! It's a salad full of fried chicken and eggs and slathered in ranch. Ashley laments that this place got rid of her favorite BBQ chicken salad and her favorite sauces, as we know food is the main reason she visits these parks and thus likely to cause the biggest of disappointments each trip.

Presumably since Ashley is too fat to ride anything and they're with older relatives, the gorls have taken it easy so far, waddling around the parks and planning to see The Housemaid at the local AMC. Riveting stuff. More soon, hopefully!

I don't know why, but for some reason the "sparkly bow" in particular really hit me weird, watching it.
Most of the time I can enjoy these as what they are, but for some reason that specific interaction felt weird. I wonder why.
