Very much so, fent, and oxy before that have crushed so many people in the forgotten coal mining towns all over Massie's district.
Massie was a well loved dude around here, i really liked the guy, i thought he was trying to do what he could, and I think he was. He's lost so much support with voting against trump's policies and nitpicking trump over every little thing. The thing is, no real public polls of him here in 6 months or so, well before trump went scorched earth on him. A lot of folks are using betting markets for an election 5 months out, hardly anything concrete.
The internal polls that i've heard about has Massie at 30ish percent, that's the high water mark for him. Ed hasn't ran a single ad yet, maga pac (which is basically miram adelson and paul singer) have ran a couple. i've heard some pretty reliable rumors that this race will probably run into the 15-20 million dollar range, and massie will be getting outspent by damn near ten to one. The ads that will run will be brutal as all hell.
this is the ad that maga kentucky pac spent a few hundred thousand dollars running back a few montsh ago.
since then he's came out against teh maduro capture, and cried his bitch tears over the drug boats getting struck. he also, bafflingly, claimed that venezuela was right to cancel us contracts on oil drilling in venezuela.
