You kid(?) but Iran does actually have a history of being oddly fascinated with crossdressers, fags and crossdressers/trannies. State enforced trooning of fags by the modern Islamist regime aside, even the Achaemenids who founded Persia/Iran in the first place were into pretty-boy eunuchs, the most famous exemplar being

In the Islamic era, paintings of explicit gay buttsex were produced under the Safavids (the dynasty which turned Iran Shia) and no less than their strongest Shah, Abbas the Great, was attested as being inordinately fond of handsome pageboys;

The dynasty before Pahlavi's, the Qajars, took power because
their founder - a eunuch - overthrew the last Zand ruler,
a femboy, who he of course had tortured and possibly raped (obviously not by himself, since he had gotten castrated as a child) to death. Incidentally despite being the Iranian equivalent to Bridget from Guilty Gear (before he was outright trooned out, that is), this Lotf Ali also appears to have been the second & last competent Zand ruler, after
his dynasty's founder Karim Khan; unfortunately the guys in-between them had already fucked Iran's situation up beyond his ability to repair by the time he came around with constant coups/civil wars, and the Qajars would proceed to fuck things up even harder for the next century. The Zands are also interesting in that they were the only Iranian dynasty to refuse the title of Shah, instead governing as Vakil ol-Ra'aya or 'Deputy of the People', and their populism made them so popular that the streets named after them kept their names to this day even as all others were de-monarchized after the Islamic Revolution.
As for the Pahlavis themselves, they also hung out with plenty of fags:
Ernest Perron, Mohammad Reza's Swiss buddy, has already been mentioned upthread, but his wife Farah also employed a gay architect & painter by the name of Bijan Saffari.
She became such good friends with him that she helped preside over his gay marriage a year before the Islamic Revolution. Their son,
Reza himself has literally won awards for his pro-gay rights stance.
Tl;dr Doesn't matter who wins, nobody is getting rid of historically well-established queerness in Iran - not the Islamists (they're just of the opinion that if you troon the fags out, it's no longer gay to poz their negholes), not the monarchists and certainly not any liberal republican sorts. Fag rights are not really an issue of any relevance to any faction in Iran or the ongoing revolution right now, anyway.
