ICE was run by more professional people at the time. But even back then you had border patrol acting like retards at times. So there'd been feuds over the years (from my understanding) about how the two did things.

So when Trump 2.0 came online they actually made a point of trying to replace higher ups in ICE with those from border patrol who liked acting out more.

Then you also have standards getting lowered to help take in more people who can't necessarily pass basic tests that are open book or run a mile or whatever in 15 minutes. Leading to out of shape retards getting recruited.

Then you also have directives to try finding people to deport wherever they can find them rather than focusing on criminals. Leading to them trying to deport people lawncare or agriculture. Which coupled with the room temperature IQs means they try just looking for whoever is brown and harassing a ton of legal residents.

Then on top of that you have them wanting to try getting rid of legal residents, so they started to try interrupting them trying to check in regularly to prevent them staying within legal requirements. So it's like they're making the active effort to go after the law abiding immigrants to try boosting their deportation numbers while actively ignoring criminals since they're harder to find.

There are 70 slaughterhouses in Texas, and plenty more in red states close to the Mexican border. ICE could raid one a day at random and they'd deport more illegals than Trump has.
